Compared to the coloured product this is natural colour and so the colour doesn't come on your hand. It's really fun to play with. Would recommend two bags to for more than one child. Easy to clean up and mould. Son sat for 2 hours straight fixated with this and plays with it at least once every two days. You can use any everyday household cups and plastic lids to make shapes etc so I feel just the bag of sand is sufficient and cheaper! 14 month old also loves this albeit for a shorter time. Very therapeutic for adults too

Good quality kinetic sand - kids and adults love it! Two bags and a good size tray have given hours of fun. Easy to clear up and pack away - although it often gets left out for several days, and hasn't dried up. Amazing!

Great product! As a nanny I use sand with the kids to not only have fun but as an educational resource. I would definitely choose kinetic sand over regular sand as it is coated in silicone oil which allows the sand particles to stick together but not to other surfaces. This creates a lot less mess and makes clearing up quick and easy. Another great thing about kenetic sand is that it never dries out and can be used over and over again. :)

Not sure why other reviewers complain of gritty texture, have they never visited the beach before in England? It's the same texture as sand but it all stays together so there's absolutely no mess. Makes perfect sand castles and I can't tear my 5 year old away from this who's been busy doing road works and making houses with it.In the photo are 2 packs and i wouldn't recommend any less than this to be able to play properly, I've ordered 2 more packs as he loves it so much. It's expensive but worth every penny really. Especially as it means I don't have to go and sit in the garden in the cold and rain for his mud kitchen now!Find this very useful for quiet playing near bedtime time too!

Brilliant stuff. Clean play, and reusable. Works best with moulds.Keep it in the bag after use. Moisture can make it sticky. (Happened to our last lot. Entirely our fault.) we enjoy this more than playdoh.

This kinetic sand has been such a hit with my 3 year old twins. The sand is so much thicker than normal sand, and is therefore amazing to use on play. We have used it in so many ways, in moulds, using stampers, and just in general play.Because the sand is thicker, it is so much more tidier to play with (always a hit for me as a parent!).I would definitely buy this product again!

I’m probably staying the obvious, but this particular sand is very gritty. Not like the usual soft kinetic sand. We didn’t like it, due to the different texture. But others might like a more gritty sand to play with. I should have paid more attention to what ‘beach sand’ would entail… it turns out it’s not just the colour!
