Classic Bamboo Sunglasses - Polarized Lens, Hard Case - Tree Tribe

These sunglasses pleasantly surprised me. I used to buy Rayban wayfarer but was sick of them breaking considering the price. I purchased these as a cheaper alternative. They fit nice and snug, my husband thinks they are a little tight. Very nice glasses expect that they are extremely light. (bamboo) after all. But you get used to them and they do compare to higher priced sunglasses in lens quality and appearance. If you are comparing to name brand Raybans, these feel 1/2 as light as they are for those of you who like weighted glasses.

Great looking sunglasses with a unique style and feel.Pros: The sunglasses have great color ( I ordered the black) Solid construction They are extremely light weight and have an nice feel when you put them on Carrying case is unique and well constructed. Comes with a cloth carrying case as well The company plants 10 trees with every purchaseCons: The packaging had a horrible chemical smell when I received them. The glasses being wood held on to this smell as well. (Just received them so I'm sure this will dissipate) BE WARNED: These glasses are small. There was another review saying this same thing so I looked at the pictures posted by other reviewers and they didn't seem too small from the way they looked on them. When I put these glasses on it looked like I picked them up from the kids toy aisle.With that being said, if they fit you then you have found a great pair of sunglasses. I was disappointed that these were just way too small for me, however my girlfriend was excited to have a great pair of sunglasses. Hopefully Tree Tribe will offer larger sizes in the future so more people can enjoy this great product.

I wish I could give a 5 star review on these and I would have if they remained whole. I loved the glasses for the first 4-5 wears until yesterday when I went to put them on and the frame broke apart at the hinge. The hinge remained intact, the whole thing came out of the little indention in the wood it was sitting in. I dont know if the hinge was glued in there and the glue didn't hold or what the issue was but I expected higher quality and certainly more than 5 very casual wears. I always kept them in the wooden cylinder that was provided and other than the grand total of about 5 hours they were on my face, they were very protected.

These glasses are so fly. This is my second pair because because my older sister saw them on me and I had her try it on at the beach. big mistake because, she said you are not getting them back lol. But I love them so much I said ok I have to spread this to the world. I have the classic wayfers and they are Great quality and super stylish. Feels better than any rayband I have worn and the polarization is simply beautiful. Treat your self or someone with these slick shades.

This is the second pair of bamboo sun glasses I bought from Tree Tribe. I like the first pair, but felt they gave off too much of a party vibe when I was in the city running errands or any casual setting.I’m even happier with this second pair! The packaging has gone thru major upgrades… They came in a recycled paper box on and a study bamboo protective case inside to keep them safe while traveling and packing. Just awesome! The overall fit is a little more stung on my face and the frames are just a little bit smaller than the classic wayfarers. I've only had these for a week, but they seem to get the same amount of compliments as the more "flashy" green-lensed classic shades.

I lost my sunglasses right before a 7,000+ mile road trip. Panic! I bought these Tree Tribes after some research and am so happy with my purchase. They come with a nice wooden case and bag. We just got back from our road trip and I wore them every mile on the road. They are still in "like new" shape and the polarized lenses were a definite benefit while on the road with so much driving.I also appreciate the fact that these are made of bamboo instead of plastic and the promise to plant 10 trees for every pair of sunglasses purchased.Recommended!

I just got these sunglasses for spring and love them already. They fit perfectly and are super lightweight thanks to the bamboo. Compared with the Ray-Ban and Warby Parker wayfarers I've bought in the past, these are lighter and more unique. I also think the natural wood makes the glasses more stylish than your typical plastic model. The frames are a rich chocolate brown, and I love that the lenses are polarized so I don't have to worry about glare. Tree Tribe really pays attention to the smallest details, down to the packaging. The microfiber pouch is perfect for clearing smudges on the go, and I'm sure I'll find another use for the cool bamboo tube the glasses came in.

Liked the glasses and the vibe. However, the glasses broke within a week with normal wear. The hinge popped up of the bamboo.
