I’m really impressed with this reverse camera by Auto Vox. One of the biggest advantages is that it requires no hard wiring at all, which made installation incredibly simple. The magnetic attachment is very strong and secure, and it hasn’t budged once – it feels totally reliable. Set-up was a breeze, and the 7-inch screen is more than big enough, providing a clear and high-quality image of the rear of the car. It’s made reversing much safer and easier, giving me real peace of mind. The picture quality is sharp and detailed, even in lower lighting, so it’s a huge help with visibility and awareness. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, high-quality reverse camera.

Opting For The 7" Monitor Version (Which Needs A Power Supply) The Image Quality Is Superb. Field Of View & Colour Definition is Fantastic The Monitor Also Loop Records In The Same Way A Dash Cam Does & For This Reason & For Peace Of Mind Monitoring Traffic Behind Us, We Selected the Never Off (System Permanently Switched On) setting Following A 600 Mile Trip To Scotland We Were Incredibly Pleased To Note The Camera Stayed On Presumably Being Suitably Charged With The Integral Solar Panel! (You do also receive a USB charging lead) In conclusion This Is A Great Camera At A Fraction of The Price Of A Dealer Fit Version Only Slight Negative Is The Monitor Is Supplied With A 12v Cigarette Plug & I Would Personally Have Preferred A USB Plug ......

This was super easy to fit to our campervan - just plug in the camera and attach the camera directly to one of the rear doors of the van (after attaching the small antenna to the screen and the larger one to the camera). No need to meddle with the van electrics or reverse light. The magnet is really strong so the camera stayed in place despite some quite bumpy roads. A metal plate is provided in the kit in case you need it. The quality is really good. The camera mount has a very sticky coating, so I had no problem attaching it to a textured dashboard. The 12v charging socket has a USB-A socket integrated into it. The carry bag is a really neat addition and helps protect the camera when not in use (it makes sense to remove the camera from the van when not in use to prevent theft). The screen has a 120s/240s/always on setting so you can decide how long to keep the screen on. I changed it to the the permanent setting for a continuous rear view, and the battery still seemed to still be fully charged after 30mins of driving and there were no camera glitches in this time. When I put the camera away after my drive, I forgot to turn it off - but to my pleasant surprise the camera was still showing full charge when set it up the next day. Great little unit if you want a really easy install and don't feel comfortable with vehicle electrics. A usb cable is provided so you can keep the camera battery topped up when not used for a while.

I bought this camera as I was looking for an upgrade to an existing reversing camera setup. Out of the box the camera is really quick and clean to set up; it pairs instantly and the video quality is extremely good, crisp and clear. My previous camera was somewhat pixelated but this is not at all. Be aware that the actual camera module is relatively large so depending on the design of the rear of your vehicle it may or may not "blend in" well, but the magnet is very strong and I have no worries about it coming off accidentally. The control at the drivers' end is very easy: there is a button to press on the cigar lighter adaptor which activates the screen (or you can press a button on the screen itself) for a set period of time. If I was to criticize anything it would be that it would be good for the drivers' end to be powered by USB instead of a 12v outlet: this way it would be easy to hard wire in with one of the many available dashcam hardwire kits - and the ability to have a remote trigger button (for example, to mount in a dash blank or on the steering wheel) would also be brilliant. But these are by no means deal breakers. All in all a very good choice for a reversing camera, particularly if your vehicle does not suit a wired camera for whatever reason.

I like it. This is a great upgrade from Auto-Vox. Having a magnetic camera eliminates the risk of theft. Also transferring to another angle on the vehicle or even another vehicle altogether is really easy. There's no need for tools to swap it out & can be stored with the receiver screen in the carry case out of sight elsewhere. More than enough transmission range for most cars, vans & wagons ect. Good so far. Like the previous Auto-Vox rear cameras this doesn't need wiring through the vehicle.

Very easy to setup and run, great image with no lag. The only downside I have found is the obvious risk of leaving the camera unattended on the vehicle, its quite big and can be easily seen which means it could very easily be stolen.

Autonomie complète de la caméra grâce à l’alimentation solaire : pas de souci de recharge. Image de qualité sur l’écran 5" (1080P), même à bonne distance. La portée sans fil est excellente, stable même au-delà de 20 mètres. Seul point à noter : l’écran doit être alimenté par prise allume-cigare / USB, donc pas totalement autonome, mais rien de bloquant. Très satisfait, je recommande sans hésiter pour une solution mobile, pratique et fiable.

Extremely pleased with the price point, quality and function of this kit. The case holds the camera, monitor, mounting plates, antennas for the system. The 12v monitor is crystal clear, and nightvision is spectacular. I have a 16 foot Scamp camper and I wanted a backup camera as well as a security system for when I've setup camp. This works splendidly; I was able to mount these temporarily using the metal plates behind the fiberglass window covers on each end of my trailer. No drilling, no holes to seal. I intend to install them only when I am navigating the trailer so I don't want them permanently affixed. Plug and play.
