Have your plate and eat it too!
You can have your plate and eat it too! No messy cleanup with these! Hold up well with food on them and can be crumbled into pieces and used with a dip! How convenient! And fun!

Innovative
These are innovative plates but still expensive. They aren't going to be a go-to for those who are on a budget. On top of that, it's not necessary to remove the bran from the wheat, at least in the US, where production time is quick. But our food production is so messed up and inadequate that it'll probably never be fixed. I would say buy the whole grain and grind your own flour, as that's the heathiest and ensures a non-rancid flour, but wheat is mostly all GMO now and hybridized, so it very different from the grain of the ancient world. I think a better option if you must have bran waste is to figure out how to make it more like wood plates, that will bio-degrade in time but hold up until you release them into the environment. Still, props to the inventor for working so hard on a way to do something about all of the bran waste he was producing in his mill. These are something I will use at an outdoor party where wind might be a factor.

Yes the title is a give away that these plates are not gluten free
These plates do not need a stamp on on tjem saying they have gluten in them because they are made from WHEAT and wheat has GLUTEN. If you don't know that already then you don't have a gluten issue!

Not safe for any kind of event catering.
For pity's sake, stamp "contains gluten" in large letters on the *top* of the plate. I have nightmares that someone will buy these for a party, or for catering at a fair, and not bother to tell people. And I do mean *on top*. Underneath would not be enough.

I think this is a wonderful product and doesn't cost much more than high end ...
If it doesn't have the stamp, then it should be obvious that it isn't Gluten free, I.e. if not stamped "GMO free", it has GMOs in it. Yikes. I think this is a wonderful product and doesn't cost much more than high end disposable dinnerware.
