This buckle buddy has saved my family a lot of time and distress. My daughter has been buckling herself for years. We just got a new car and the angle was hard for her to buckle independently- after much research, we found this one. I chose it because I loved the mint color advertised, but it’s not. It’s full on green- which doesn’t change my review - I just wanted to share the difference since others may think this as well.The color doesn’t stop it from being a wonderful product - so I’m glad we found it and we couldn’t live without it now!

UPDATE: The thing slides down and becomes useless. You have to keep readjusting it. As a growing preggo, leaning over the car seat to get at the buckle is painful. This is not the permanent fix I was hoping for. Taking my chances on a backless booster and hoping that fixes the problem.My 6yo was suddenly unable to buckle herself into her booster thanks to some imperceptible shift in its alignment. I was so frustrated and ready to shell out for an entire different seat when I decided to search for “seat belt helper” and found these. Highly recommend! They do require thumb strength to “install,” so a grandparent might need help with that. Overall genius product. I’m so thankful!

We purchased a set of these for my 5 year old who still sits in a high back car seat, he just started using the car seat belt and couldn’t reach the buckle while in the highback car seat because it’s so large and also because the buckle was always falling between the seats. I put one buckle buddie on and it worked, but still seemed a bit far down, so I added a second one on top of the other and it’s now perfect!! My little one was able to buckle on the first try! There are other options for this particular product, but we went with the buckle biddie because of the pretty color! It happens to be my sons favorite color! We will definitely be back to purchase again, in 2 years when my daughter turns 5!

I drive a Chevy Malibu, and the seat buckles in the backseat go down into the seat when you try to buckle. Not a problem until we converted to a highback booster. I was literally fighting to get my kid buckled every time!I took a chance and ordered these to see if it might help, and I am so glad I did! It took a little work to get it on, but once on..It hasn't moved! My daughter can now easily buckle and unbuckle herself with ease! Total game changer not to have to crawl over her and fight with the seatbelt every day!

This is where a little bit challenging for me to install. You pretty much have to shove the clasp through the silicone opening and that takes quite a bit of effort, especially if your hands aren't very strong. I found that it actually helped 2 put it on as much as I could and then Buckle the seat belt and use the seatbelt to hold on while I pushed the holder around the buckle. It makes it a lot easier for my kids to buckle themselves. I love the color. Just beware, if you happen to have dogs that ride in the car, there will be dog hair all over these. They are like dog hair magnets. That's not anyone's fault. But just don't be shocked. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone whose kids have trouble with disappearing buckles. This will greatly reduce annoyance and frustration as you're trying to not be late to school.

These things really help children to buckle up easier! I have two children in boosters and it was really challenging for them to buckle up because they were trying to hold the buckle up with one hand while pushing the seat belt in with the other hand. This frees both if their hands to maneuver and buckle their seat belt. Only down side is that they are kind of hard to put on the buckle but it's not impossible. My husband had to help me get them all the way on. Plus side to that is they stay put! So that's the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. These are a huge help and I would buy them again.

We purchased a new seat for our 6 year old granddaughter. We were having difficulty securing the seat belt. We saw the silicone holder, but it doesn't do as advertised. You still have to hold it with one hand and use the other to place it in the seat belt lock. The holder does have edges which assists you in holding it, but it does not help in the amount of time needed. What would really help would be in purchasing the child seat. The one we have has an armrest, which is in the way when trying to buckle the child. Make sure you get one where the arm rest can be raised and lowered and that may help more than this product.

These will work perfect for my back seat buckles. However, all the pictures show a teal color. It’s my favorite color so I have many other accessories and things in the car of the same coloring. I was so upset when I opened the box and they were a very simple green color. Which would be fine if I had anything else that color. I really wish the description said somewhere what color they truly were bc I checked before I purchased. I figured the coloring in the pics were accurate since there wasn’t a “color description”.. Not the biggest deal, but I would’ve purchased the red ones had the description been accurate on these. I took a pic with a couple teal-ish items to give someone else an idea of what they’d be getting.
