I like the clear plastic in the back of the tablet. The pen fit just perfect and it doesn't feel or look bulky.

I'm surprised for the book cover quality. I thought it was made of thin plastic. But it is really good feeling and made by quality material. The magnets work very well and do not affect the device. And when you fold the cover for the stand, the magnets hold it steady. The only negative thing is that the book cover does not fit fully onto the lower silicone body. You may check the photo. Pen space is enough and i think was revised and silicone body is enought too to protect device. As a result I highly recommend a product that I like.

Pros:- Pen fits snug and nicely in the space provided- Overall makes your tab look goodCons:- The cover overlaps a few centimeters too far out.- Non magnetic closure- Material seems a bit cheap thus-Quality seems like it will only survive a few months from opening and closing- Needs better grip! It would’ve been nice if the makers would’ve incorporated ridges on the fold for better grip. It can easily slide of your hand.My tab fell on carpet less than 2 ft and it popped out of the case. So, case needs to be more snug especially to protect corners.Overall ok. The only benefit is the way they incorporated the pen holder which is a big plus to keep your pen near at all times. It look nice when compared to others. Just minor flaws but an certainly be perfected.

Very pleased with this. I went thru 2 other cases that had very weak magnets that wouldn't keep my tablet upright. This works perfect & wont fall when bumped or moved.

Case is innovative! Has a reversed spot for holding pen on top of tablet as opposed to the bottom, (like on Samsung's own branded case) which gets in the way whe setting in a keyboard holding recession. Bravo guys!

In the beginning I liked the cover but when my tablet fell off from the chair my front cover broke. I purchased this thinking it can protect my tablet and the pen but my front cover is now broken.

This product works well, and it's one of the least expensive product on the market for Galaxy Tab S4. The materials used feel very nice, both the TPU and the leather are in good quality and mostly well made. I like this is made out of TPU instead of hard polycarbonate plastic cover like a lot of cases out there. Most plastic hard cover would most likely give your device a little bit of scratch mark when you are inserting the device into the cover, this does not, TPU is a softer material, and has better grip. The transparent back cover is a nice touch, but TPU tends to yellow over time, we'll see how this one fares after awhile.It's a great idea to include a pen holder and I am glad it's not just a pen loop to have the S-Pen hanging off the side of the tablet like Samsung's own keyboard over. The pen holder surrounds the S-Pen with TPU preventing any from bumping into the Pen while not in use, and the opening in the back of the slot helps to remove the S-pen easily. The additional loop to put the pen where it could be easily reached is a strange choice, I could do without it. I personally don't see a reason for it, since the pen holder is already there, not sure it adds any benefit, but your mileage may vary.There are gaps between the pen tip and the pen holder slot if you tuck the Pen all the way to the other end, but it still a little too close for me comfort. They could have easily just added a couple of little notches on the inside of slot to prevent the tip from bumping into the wall and bend the pen tips.The leather cover has a nice build quality, very nice and soft to the touch. Nice to include magnets to snap to the triangular folding position as well as the sleep/wake function. Unfortunately, when you close the front cover, the front cover does not match up with the back cover. The front cover is offset slightly that it has an overhang on the buttons side of the case, and cover up the S-Pen slot partially. It's an eyesore for an industrial designer like myself.The front cover also flops around when it's closed, it does not have a magnet to keep the cover stay closed, nor any kind of latch to prevent the cover from hanging loose.The ports openings are all on the right spots, and USB-C port opening works well for stock charging cable. However; the port opening is off-centered, and it is about a couple of millimeters too small on the front and on one side for all of my aftermarket USB hubs. Since this device is marketed as somewhat of a laptop replacement with DEX, and I personally do have the need to plug in a monitor and mouse/keyboard combo a lot, I think this is a severe oversight for the designer to overlook the possibilities of aftermarket USB-C cables and hubs. I do not have an official DEX HDMI hub to test on the opening, but all of my aftermarket USB-C hubs cannot go through the opening.Overall, this is a great case for the price. Although there are quite a few flaws, it still has great value for its price. Even though some of the problems should probably be overlooked because of its price, but a lot of these fixes doesn't cost the manufacturer any extra if it was designed corrected in the beginning. I am an industrial designer and mechanical engineer, it pains me to see these problems when they could be easily been done right.-E.J.Su

The pen holder is short and broke my pen tip and it can’t fit with tip

Adds weight and thickness, but will protect if the tablet is dropped. Seems well built and designed. Just be careful putting the pen in the holder or you will damage the tip, even with the added room in the new revision.

Ottima cover, dopo averne provate tante finalmente ho trovato quella giusta!Le altre erano di plastica rigida e spesso si rompevano dopo poco, questa è in TPU morbido ed è molto più durevole e protettiva.La descrizione di ultra sottile tuttavia non è esatta, infatti almeno sui lati è abbastanza spessa (sui 3mm), ma personalmente la preferisco con un po' di protezione in più, quindi bene così.La cover protegge anche i tasti del volume e accensione/spegnimento senza lasciarli scoperti, a differenza di molti altri modelli. Sono comunque ben responsivi, e facili da individuare senza confondersi. I fori in corrispondenza delle varie uscite sono precisi, non limitano l'audio in entrata e uscita e non ho avuto problemi ad inserire caricabatterie più spessi di quello standard.Il sistema sia di chiusura magnetica della flip-cover che della funzione stand sono più che buoni anche se il materiale in simil-pelle sembra che sia facile da graffiareMolto comodo il porta penna, il design o piace o non piace ma di sicuro é una soluzione ingegnosa che non ho trovato in altri brand. È meno incisiva sulle dimensioni finali del tablet rispetto alle configurazioni più comuni ed inoltre garantisce una protezione extra contro eventuali urti. Permette di avere sempre la penna a portata di mano senza rischiare di dimenticarla o perderla, l'alloggiamento è sicuro e stabile, facile inserire e sfilare la penna che tuttavia non scivola mai fuori da sola.Unica "pecca" dopo mesi di utilizzo il TPU di questa come ogni altra cover trasparente tende ad ingiallire, peccato non aver trovato una versione completamente colorata.In conclusione ottima cover, ben ideata, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, design particolare che sicuramente salta all'occhio.Super consigliata!
