Leptech Kickstand Series Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Case/SM-N960U Case (Black)

This is the second such cover I've purchased for my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, same style. This cover is easy to put on the phone. The three separate parts click together firmly and hold the phone securely. All the plug-in holes are accessible, including the stylus, and the Camera and Biometrics opening on the back are perfect. Side buttons integrate correctly with the on-board buttons of the phone with no hesitation on presses. There's no touch-screen cover on this one, so if you're a fan of a second skin in your display, you'll need to invest separately for that. I will extoll the praises of this cover's "drop test" capabilities. I don't often bobble my phone and drop it, but on the rare occasions when I have, this cover kept it safe from harm. The belt clip also holds it on my waist securely, without fear of losing it; the clip is tight and the shell holds the phone snug. Removal from the belt clip is easy, done be pushing on a latch and leveraging out with a thumb. The kickstand works well enough, but its all-plastic construction is prone to failure after repeated use. The tiny plastic tabs that ride down the slide rails eventually give out and snap off, at which point I simply remove the whole assembly. That's the only reason for the 4 Rating. Otherwise, this is a wonderful addition to your phone to keep it safe from our insidious Gravity. ?;-] ~TJW~

Well, yeah, as their description states, it does protect against a drop... ONE TIME. My phone slipped from about waist high and dropped on the floor. My phone is fine thank you, but the case back cover broke. I now need to buy another case. I will be looking for something that is hopefully a bit more sturdy that will actually survive a fall itself.

Phones feels really secure in this holder. I did not think that I would have like it because of the thickness but I adopted to it immediately and I like the fact that it will not accidentally fall out of clip. Also, you have the option of having the phone screen exposed or facing the clip which gives added protection if you turn screen towards clip.

I've dropped it a few times now from various height and the thing isn't even scratched up that badly. Whoever responsible for designing it deserves an award and a decent pay raise. 👏👏👏 The belt holder clip is incredibly sturdy and well built. I'm not taking the case off my phone to submit pictures mostly due to laziness but trust me: its strong and worth your money to buy.

This is my second purchase of this color In less than a year, it breaks easily, but my husband and I really like the options that it has. We love the clip on it, and it has protected the phone overall. The downfall is that the outer plastic colored case frame often breaks and falls off, but it does leave the rubber protection. I wish it was better built in terms of materials, because then it would be 5 stars. You pay over $1,000 dollars for a phone, and you would like to keep it protected. I wish that there were more options in terms of cases with clips that are for the Note 9, until then, I will just have to keep buying this one, and accept it's downfalls.

I really like this case, however... today I went to use the kickstand and it broke. Not happy about how easy it broke, but the case does fit well and protects the sides and back. Thank God I haven't dropped my phone yet lol so I don't know if it will protect the phone from a drop and hope I never find out lol. But it does seem like it is well protected.

The way it clips to your belt allows it to sometimes not hook over the belt. That allows it to fall off your belt when entering or exiting a car. Also the snap that holds the phone to the belt clip doesn't always snap over the phone and again the phone will fall off.
