Large Painters Easel Adjustable Solid Beech Wood Artist Easel, Studio Easel for Adults with Brush Holder, Holds Canvas up to 48"

Received item a day ahead of schedule. Assembly was very easy. I only have one suggestion: Look very closely at the step by step (ILLUSTRATIONS) because they "Do Not" provide step by step (INSTRUCTIONS). However, they do supply all of the tools and (clearly labeled) parts needed to complete the task. Item is made of solid wood and feels very sturdy. Nice size and adjustable.

Beautiful easle, the wood, design, and flexibility of features. Works well, sturdy and accommodates large or small canvasses. Putting it together needs careful attention and thinking-out because instructions (pictoral) have very specific visuals for correct facing and placement which if not observed can require re-doing correctly. One person can easily do it except for last fitting which needed an extra hand to hold pressure (due to a tension spring) while I screwed fitting heads on). Otherwise, it's an easy and beautifully made product with quality wood and fittings, design and style, should really last I think.

One of my best purchases of all time on Amazon. This is as well built as a fine piece of furniture. I love how adjustable this easel is. You can position your artwork low for sitting or tall for standing. It also accommodates a large variety of artwork sizes. I have this in my office next to my desk. I can just slide over in my chair and paint at the exact height I want. That way the easel is right next to my desk monitor where I have photos/source materials to paint from. I don't know the wood type but it seems like a hardwood. Each piece is straight as an arrow (easy assembly) and sanded perfectly smooth with a light finish. There aren't any knots in the wood on even the smallest pieces. Traits: - sturdy wood - easy to assemble - very economical for the quality - fits in small studios - accommodates small and very large artwork - flexible height for sitting or standing - works closed (leaning against a wall) or open freestanding Since this sounds like a paid review... I wasn't paid for this review. I didn't receive the easel at a discount for this review. I wrote this hoping that someone else would not purchase an overpriced easel from Blicks and instead take a chance on a cheaper AND better easel from Sham-azon.

The construction feels solid.The installation instructions provided were clear, concise, and easy to follow. I appreciated the fact that everything was well-labeled, so I didn’t have to guess what went where. Overall, this easel exceeds expectations, offering excellent quality, thoughtful design, and great functionality.

I really like this easel. I haven’t used it yet because I built it today, but I think it’s going to improve my painting experience. It’s quite nice looking and feels sturdy. I also like its adjustability because it will handle canvases of many different sizes and might allow me to sit or stand, depending on my mood. After putting it together, I added some notes to the instruction manual and have uploaded the photos so you can see where there are some shortcomings and lack of detail. I included photos of only four pages from the instruction manual, which were the points at which I felt particularly challenged. The instructions probably work fine for those who are good at this sort of thing, but I am mediocre at the very best. I hope they save some time and frustration.

This easel is absolutely beautiful and sturdy. I am using to hold a very large whiteboard (about 30x48 inches). The instructions were a little difficult to understand and I needed an extra pair of hands at one point, but the entire process of installation took me about 25 minutes. If you're questioning this item, I totally recommend it.

I only write reviews for a small fraction of things I purchased off of Amazon, but hands-down, this is one of the things worth writing about. Not only was it easy to put together, but it’s absolutely a beautiful piece. You truly can’t go wrong on any level and absolutely worth the price paid. Don’t even second-guess this brand.

Quite a solid item, easy to assemble, came with two quality screwdrivers all the hardware was separated in poly bags with identification. Instructions were ok, writing of the part numbers on each assembly stage drawing was so small it was hard to read. This product will probably last longer than me. The grooves meant to hold the board in the head are only about 6mm so don't fit the 12mm backing board I use, I might modify that so the board is held better. I have not used the item yet but I can see no reason why it wouldn't satisfy my need especially if I machine a wider groove in the head which I can do in my workshop, but even if you can't do that yourself it shouldn't be a deal breaker, it is a quality product for home use.
