Who Is Michael Jordan? (Who Was?)

My 10 year old son loves this series - we've read all the ones available through the library. I am so glad that Amazon offered the book at a discounted rate, if they kept up with the promotions, I would be buying these weekly.

Got this for 8 year old grandson. I read the book myself before giving it to him. Very well written and also has interesting information about the origin of basketball and of the NBA. I think he will love the book!

Perfect for my son for his book report. Not too overwhelming with information, easy to read, very captivating.

if you have a young reader in your home these books are well written and illustrated biographies about current and past heroes. Astronauts, scientist, sports greats (female and male), presidents. A great way to get your kids reading.

My son loves basketball. He loved learning about Micheal Jordan. He even said he wished it was a longer book. The book was very informative.

My students know all about the modern players but not the older established players,so I am helping them.

Book is great! It's not really a children's book. It is aimed at older, maybe 8 and up sort of age range. Has 10 chapters and really covers Jordan's whole youth and career in rapid succession. Today's youth won't know much about the real players so I got this for my son with hopes he will appreciate my favorite player. They used many famous images from his career and turned them into sort of sketch drawings which makes it look nice and interesting for the kiddo. Over all great book for kids.
