I am no stranger to weighted blankets, I have a few different types and styles but this one just became my favorite!The first thing I noticed about this blanket was the even distribution of the weights, so much so that I actually thought they had mistakenly sent me the 15 pound one. It felt lighter than my others but I weighed it and it is 20 pounds! The only thing I can guess is that the weights are so well placed that when you pick it up, they don't shift and bunch up like my others tend to do which makes it feel lighter when you are carrying it.The second thing I noticed is how quiet it is! If you have ever used a weighted blanket before you may have noticed the sounds it makes as the weights shift around inside their pockets. This blanket doesn't seem to have that, it is super quiet and I love it.The blanket is advertised as being 'cooling'. I can't really speak to that as I don't tend to be a hot sleeper but I will say the bamboo cover is cool and silky to the touch so it certainly seems cooler than the minky covers on my other weighted blankets. I also love the fact that the cover is removable and washable so you don't have to go spend additional money on a duvet.Lastly, the packaging on this was phenomenal! It was delivered during one of our daily torrential rainstorms here in FL. The outer box was destroyed, totally soaked and falling apart. I was worried what I would find when I opened it but the blanket was inside a reusable carrying case, sealed in plastic and then inside another cardboard box. It was totally protected and in perfect condition!This is now my go to weighted blanket!

The blanket arrived today in a velvet storage/carrying case which looked very luxurious. It also came with a booklet that provided information and reviews regarding the item itself. The blanket material is so soft and is almost identical to silk.. I'm absolutely in love with it. I was originally going to put a duvet cover over it to protect it from dust, stains, ect. but the material is so amazing that I don't want to do that. I just want to cuddle with it all day and night. I just had my 5th child a few days ago and I'm looking forward to using this gNo blanket at night to help me sleep, relieve anxiety, and calm my emotions if I'm feeling overwhelmed during the adjustment of having so many children lol! I purchased a another popular brand weighted blanket from Target a couple of weeks ago but even though it was soft and semi-heavy, its not anywhere close to the amazing quality of this blanket! I know that the price seems a little steep for a blanket for some households (which most brands are), but the advantages of having this particular blanket are well worth it! One of my favorite parts about the blanket is that it comes with a large, thick, and soft velvety storage bag with a zipper closure and handles. There will be times that I'm not using this when the weather gets too warm in Phoenix, and when that occurs I will need a safe and sanitary place to store this blanket. With that being said, I love that it comes with this accessory. My other blanket that I purchased from target literally came in a plastic bag and feels as though there are metal chains inside which makes it heavy, but it's also somewhat uncomfortable especially when using it with my children or newborn. The gNo blanket does not have the same type of "feel" which means that you do not have metal material weighing you down... which makes this an elite product! Over all I am beyond satisfied with this blanket and I would absolutely purchase with us again in the future. I also recommend this to anyone with mild, moderate or severe anxiety and I look forward to seeing improvement in my sleep starting tonight (well, in between the 2 hour feedings/diaper changes with my baby Jax). I purchased this weighted blanket to help with my anxiety because I'm an insomniac and i cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it is! I received one as a gift about a year ago but it was so heavy and the fuzzy cover was so hot I felt like I was boiling in a cocoon and would wake up sweating and having to throw it off so I've been looking for a new one. This one is just heavy enough and the outer duvet cover is silky smooth that i can't even believe it's cotton and not silk! And it's cooling to the touch and breaths. It's comes with an awesome carrying case but since this is my new favorite blanket I doubt I will ever put it back in there. :) This is by far the best weighted blanket I have found.

I think I'm going to return this blanket. I really liked it but I noticed after the first use that the pellets do not stay put. They move around like crazy to the point that huge portions of the blanket are not weighted at all and its annoying. I did my research and I wanted to spend a bit more money than I wanted to make sure I got a good product, but sadly this did not live up to expectations. Very disappointed because the blanket is so expensive.

For 30+ years I have suffered from insomnia. I have had numerous sleep studies, used both prescription and over the counter medication, and had little to no relief. The prescription medication would knock me out but I never felt like I was rested. So I thought I might try this weighted blanket.I recevied it this week and have used it for 3 nights. The first two nights I slept most of the night and the sleep was a deep refreshing sleep. Last night, I slept in a deep and refreshing sleep for 9 hours and this is without taking any medication. I am hoping that my sleep continues to improve. What a difference a good night sleep made on the way I felt today.I do have to say I did have to get used to the weight. But the weights are evenly distributed and the duvet cover is extremely soft. I know this blanket is a little pricey but I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is suffering from insomnia.

The beads don't stay in their spots, in fact they all end up moving to one end or the other of the blanket, making one end 20 lbs and the other end weightless. I washed the cover once, on delicate and air dryed it, and the stitches are coming apart at the seams. I've had this for 3 months and am really disappointed

This, for us, does exactly what it's supposed to - provide a heavy weighted wrap around feeling to promote sleep. We fell asleep quicker, slept deeper and resumed sleep quickly if we awoke. The weight stayed evenly distributed, the grey bamboo material was smooth and comfortable.However, after a coupl of weeks we decided it was actually too heavy and even though it was the largest they offer, it wasn't large enough to cover both of us and fall over the edge of the bed. As a consequence it always ended up in a pile in between us.Summary, great quality and it works. The 12kg weight was too much for us, we would have preferred 9kg option i think. Also perhaps with a 6ft wide bed, we shoul have gone for 2 smaller blankets - one each.

Really believe that this has helped with itchy restless leg, and sleepless nights. My partner and I are definitely sleeping more easily now and I never end up without a cover in the night, it's too heavy to be readily pulled off.Would definitely recommend that you try it.It wasn't cheap but it was an excellent investment. I also love the fact that it comes with a removable cover for ease of washing.

It does feel very comforting, I have slept better with it. I have a queen size, which is nice for one adult, because it flows and tucks around your body (It is not suitable for two people in my opinion). The removable bamboo cover material is lovely to touch, cool and smooth, some might say luxurious. Recommended!

A really well made product. It looks good and the removable machine washable cover is great. It has had great results for helping my son sleep. He can get to sleep more quickly and sleeps more soundly. Worth the investment in my opinion.

This is the best product I've bought this year. Was having terrible trouble sleeping this has helped with that. The only down side of it you don't want to get out of bed.
