My spouse is a city letter carrier for the USPS. She often covers for the rural department and travels in some sketchy areas, delivering to homes with dogs that are randomly loose, and people who seem unfriendly or nefarious. She asked for a stun gun, which i readily agreed to purchase for her. We tested it and this product has enough voltage to make a statement but not seriously harm an animal or person. It fits perfectly in her pocket and in her hand within the pocket. She hasn't had to use it on the job, and we hope she doesn't, but it provides a sense of protection she wouldn't otherwise have.

This stun gun is small, compact, easy to activate and use, and powerful enough to help in the event you may need critical seconds to escape possible dangerous situations. I can't speak for any and all cases but 3 to 4 seconds following an initial 1 to 2 second stun, you could possibly have time to fend off an attacker, and escape the danger. I highly suggest you read the instructions carefully before using or attempting to use this item. The life you save could be your own.

Will shock the poo out of a fool

It's perfect for walking the dog. When some people don't have theirs on a leash, knowing you have this in your pocket really helps plus picking up dog poop at night is hard without a flashlight and this is light enough, right and just the right amount of light to help with that effort. I highly recommend this for people walking their dogs. Don't know if it would stop a determined person.

Bought this for protection and like the shape as it's easier to hold than a rectangular shape one that I also have. This one feels more secure in your hand and simply flipping the switch with the thumb and pulling the trigger to zap someone is very intuitive and natural and not awkward like the rectangular one. The case is very sturdy but kind of hard to pull it out of as it's tight. I carry it without the case. I like the built in tongs that slide out to charge it by simply putting it in a outlet. When holding it, it feels very much that I won't drop it or accidentally mishandled it and that I would have no trouble using it if I'm put in that situation.

Straight up didn't work at all, Chinese made of the LOWEST QUALITY EVER SEEN (no exaggeration), definitely disappointed with it.Their idea?... Since it was my fault they sent me a crappie product, I had to pay $7.99 for my package to be picked up and returned or if I didn't want to pay they $7.99 I had to drive 20 miles each way to drop off the package at a UPS store at my own expense of fuel, time and a few overtime hours of leaving work early because UPS closes before I get off work and definitely doesn't open before I go to work at 4 am

I looked at a lot of these before choosing this one. I like that it seems easy to use when one might be in a tight spot. One button to unlock the zapper so you don't zap yourself by accident. Right above that is the button for the zapper. Standard flashlight for these things. Fits easily in hand, purse, or pocket. The deciding factor for me was that it has a usable case. Many of the others had cases that were so cheap they were worthless. With this one I can wear it on my belt.
