Updated review: Worked so far-- the 3 star slow flow review is not the filters fault so I apologize. I fIxed the refrigerator water flow. I guess when I turn off and installed this alkaline filter, it gave a pressure surge that broke a brittle hose that was close to the heat of the compressor. Four stars because it came with a 1/4" quick connect filter adapter.

I usually buy the iSpring alkaline with calcite but it’s been unavailable. This was just as good. The flavor of my water is delicious. It’s a perfect addition to my 6 stage RO system.

Good value, but the filter didn't hold up as long as my last one did. Overall I'm still happy with it and would buy again

I have to agree with some other reviews that mentioned the filter adding a strange taste. It was fine for the first few weeks but then it started to make my RO water smell and taste earthy, closest thing I can guess at is clay taste. I removed the filter and my water treated crisp and clean again.

Made water taste like fish.
