I ordered this costume Sunday night and received it that Wednesday. Item was just as pictured. I ordered a M 8-10 and it fit perfectly. I am normally an 8 but sometimes a 10. The only negative thing I can say is that there is some crunchy material in the shoulders to give it a fuller look that is extremely itchy. I'm going to have to cover it or take it out because it's not wearable next to my skin. The costume is well made and very pretty. If California Costumes wanted to improve on this costume they should replace the itchy fabric in the shoulders and perhaps make the sleeves end in a point on the hand to complete the look.

This is a super cute option for the Renaissance Festival. But there are some things you should know when ordering.This runs smaaallll! I sized up to a medium and it’s still pretty tight in some spots, like the elastic at the upper arms, and the waist is just big enough for me I’m usually a size 4/27 these days. I’d highly recommend sizing up two sizes. Especially since I here’s no zipper and it is a challenge to put on. The fabric is thin and there is no stretch. But once it’s on, it’s comfortable enough, though the shoulders are a bit scratchy. The length is great. I’m 5’4” and this will be perfect with some small heels. The chest is a great fit for me at a 34DD.Quality is fine for a costume, but it’s not impressive.

Great costume. Fit pretty well. Was a little scratchy, but you can expect that from most Halloween costumes. Got Great complements. (Dragons pictured not included. Lol)

After trying it on, a tie that cinches up the skirt just fell off. The sleeves are too tight and it’s hard to pull on over the breast area. Crunchy material in shoulders are itchy. Ordered a Large as directed by sizing. Going up in size would’ve resulted in bodice area being too saggy.

My daughter needed a Renaissance outfit for a local theatre production and this looked great up close and on stage. I ordered her dress size according to the chart and this fit her almost perfectly. I had to make only a small adjustment to the neckline as it was a bit too revealing for her. Just as a note, the picture shows the bright gold pattern on the bodice and sleeves and in actuality it is not that solid of a line.... its more dotted and muted in color. The crown is made of a rubbery plastic and is just okay but we weren't using it anyways so it didn't matter to us. For under $24.00 this dress was certainly a bargain and as always with Amazon Prime, I received the dress in two days.

This dress is beautiful and for under 30 dollars it’s a great bargain. First, I’m a plus size girl, normally a size 16 but I decided to roll the dice and order an XL anyway since it was a dress and may fit. The chest is large as other reviews said (I’m not busty at all) but i found I could just move the sleeves a bit more off the shoulder and the chest fit alright. The waist is not stretchy so it was a bit tight as were the sleeves. If you are normally bigger than a 16 and very busty, this dress will probably not fit.Like pretty much everyone else, I cut that scratchy shoulder stuffing out immediately. The sleeves look great without it and it is harsh on the skin, not worth keeping it. Easy to remove. The dress also arrives somewhat wrinkled due to being packed in a plastic bag. I ironed it a bit and that helped. The fabric is thin enough that I wasn’t too hot all day at the Renaissance Festival. Did not show sweat stains despite wearing it for hours outside and fabric moves nicely, does not catch or snag really. The details on this dress are what makes it worthwhile, the sleeves are gorgeous and fun. The way the dress hangs in the front is so unique, not many other costume dresses have that feature. Also, I found the tiara (though cheapy on an elastic band) is actually pretty and easy to wear. Would absolutely recommend this costume, wish they would make a plus sized version!

This costume was BEAUTIFUL!! It fit exactly how I wanted it to!! I LOVE IT!! I'm 5'7 135lbs and a Small was PERFECT!! It's just the right length, goes right to the bottom of my feet without dragging, the sleeves are the perfect length for my arms and the quality is pretty good for being a relatively inexpensive Halloween costume.. I will recommend it to anyone and everyone! The "itchy" shoulder pads weren't an issue for me.. I've worn it for about two hours and it itched at first but after about 10-15 minutes I didn't notice it AT ALL! It's an easy fix if it bothers you though, just cut it out.. And the crown seemed like good quality to me, the jewels might come off for some, but didn't for me, if it's an issue just glue them on better :-)

I am 5'7" and about 145 lbs the length of the dress is perfect. The arms of the sleeves is a little snug but not too tight that I can't move. My bust is only a B-cup so I made a small adjustment to the bodice. If I was a C-cup it would have fit great. As others had warned the netting in the sleeves to make the shoulders puff is scratchy, however, I stitched a silky type of fabric to the underside and solved that problem. The front of the dress is great. The back of the dress is a bit thin just being one layer and shows some "lumps and rolls" so my plan is to get a body slimmer and wear a slip to ensure coverage. The crown I loved. Even though one of the jewels fell off when I opened it I just glued it back on. The crown is made of a sturdy plastic but is bendable. My daughter even borrowed it for her Madrigal concert. The price was reasonable and I am happy with my purchase.

Me encantó el disfraz. Llegó super rápido, es de buena calidad y se ve muy bien. Amé la coronita que trae, aunque hay que estar listos con kola loka para pegarle las piedritas, porque vienen sueltas. Lavar con mucho cuidado.

Costume de bonne qualité! Les couleurs sont vives, idéal à porter pour une soirée carnavalesque.Je mesure 1m59 et j ai pris une taille S/MLa couronne se maintient par un élastique sur l arrière

Absolutely beautiful costume!!! fit great. unfortunately my biceps are a bit too big to fit the dress and I didn't have time to fix it before the medieval faire I was attending. So I had to return it. Other then that I DEFINITELY recommend this dress!!!

Sehr schönes Kleid wie abgebildet, der Stoff ist super angenehm zu tragen, außer oben an den Schultern kratzt es wo innen der schwarze Tüllstoff vernäht wurde. Kann das Kleid weiter empfehlen😁 Preis ist etwas hoch aber Qualität hat halt ihren Preis..
