This is a simple, no-fuss bulk pack of capsules. They're easy to fill, and the top has a nice tight snap once you put the pill together. I decided to test them out to see just how effective they'd be for making essential oil capsules. I filled a capsule with my oil blend, and left it on the counter for about 10 hours while I went to work. There was no leakage or deterioration. While I don't know if I would make these in bulk and leave out indefinitely, you could make one and leave it out it for awhile without worrying. I actually keep mine in the freezer, which I recommend. I fill a few dozen caps with my oil blend and keep them in a freezer baggie. The caps keep perfectly intact in the freezer, I haven't had any leak or burst, and then I take one out as needed. To get an idea of how long it actually takes for the cap to breakdown once swallowed, I filled a cap with some oil and left it in a glass of water. After about 10 minutes in water, the exterior started to break down enough to leak oil, but was still mostly intact. After 20 minutes, the gel cap was starting to collapse and leak out more oil. After 30 minutes, about 80% of the oil had leaked out, and the capsule was taking on a more gelatinous quality. After 45 minutes, the whole contents of the pill had leaked out, save for a few dregs trapped in the gellifying capsule. So there you have it. I was impressed with the results, and would definitely buy these again. They seem high quality, they swallow easily, and they're simple to fill and put together.

Good capsules, good size, easy to fill.

These work great for putting my essential oils in for taking orally. I did want to make up a few at a time and store them but was unsure if they would hold up with liquid in them. I know the company didn't recommend them for that type of application, but tried them out anyway. They have held up extremely well. I put my oils plus olive oil for the carrier and they are holding 5 days later all together in a container. I was extremely careful not to get olive oil on the outside and succeeded for all but one. I decided to leave it on a paper towel to see if it would be adversely affected, but it has held up just as well as the others. These are regular release capsules and so they break down in the stomach, therefore I do get the flavor of the oils after taking them. I have found that eating a good meal about 15 min later prevents the flavor from coming up. I did buy these capsules because I do not like the flavor of the particular oils, but use the oils for stomach related problems and the oils help so much I had to find a solution. These capsules have been the solution I needed, and with so many capsules in the bag I have plans to make more capsules for other things. :)

I needed to reduce the amount of supplement I take in half and these were the perfect vehicle for that. I decided to try these because they were the best price I saw on the market; even though some reviews said they received theirs with some that were broken. Mine arrived in a timely manner, all in tact and were easy to pull apart, easy to fill, and easy to swallow. So far I am very happy with my order and will more than likely order again when needed.

These are what you would expect when ordering bulk capsules. Others I have ordered, the bags were contained in a box. These did not have their own box and the order is fulfilled by Amazon, so there is a chance they will be shipped with other items you have ordered. Mine were fine, but I could imagine other scenarios where shipping damage could occur. That said, I ordered based on price but this seller is a small business and I'd encourage anyone to consider their products as an option.

Always received as I expect it to. I prefer the vegetarian capsules because they seem to work better in my capsule filler and the idea of gelatin grosses me out. The only complaint is, though I think gelatin is gross, when I first tried them they were pretty flavorless to ingest. The vegetarian capsules sort of taste as if I'm swallowing plastic and the taste is there for quite some after ingesting them. I have to take them with a flavored beverage because with water, just as many fish oil supplements give "fish burps", the vegetarian capsules give "plastic burps". I don't know. Maybe most people wouldn't mind this, but it's pretty difficult for me to stomach. Just a warning for the small, overly-sensitive to taste and texture, minority like myself. :) Quick Tip: If you use a capsule filler, it's helpful to store the capsules in mason jars with desiccant (I use small silica packets). I rarely have trouble with the capsules changing sizes storing them this way. Plastic sandwich bags work too but those definitely need silica packets.
