Kings Of NYClassic Mens Long Sleeve Sports Polo Rugby Shirt

Bought this as a present for my son. He really likes it and it has washed well. He does hang it to dry to minimize shrinkage. The quality is excellent for the price and would recommend. I did order a medium based on size recommendations but had to return for a large. He normally wears medium in JCrew or A&E. He is 6”3 and 165lbs if that helps. The large was perfect.

Nice shirt. Fit was a little short in length but that was because just 2XL not 2XLT. If they would have offered 2XLT that is what I would have ordered and I'm sure it would have been fine. Shrank a little when washed but not tooo bad.

This shirt fit true to size and launders well. Shipping was fast. I would buy again.

This shirt has all the design characteristics required of a rugby shirt, but the material it is made of is NOT up to rugby standards. Rugby players are given to grab your shirt and use it for leverage. Against the rules, but routinely practiced. That means the material of the shirt needs to withstand that abuse. So typical rugby shirts are made of heavily woven 100% cotton that will not tear. This shirt body is made of a light t-shirt like material that stretches, so I doubt it is made of 100% cotton, as advertised, and will not withstand even one game of rugby. The collar, on the other hand, is correctly made of a white canvas like material, designed to be tear proof. So this is not a winter wear shirt, as I was expectling.

I found this shirt on Amazon right after ordering a similar polo shirt from LL Bean at three times the price. Thought it would be interesting to compare the two, and I really liked the black with white stripe. Well, Kings of NY was equal in every way to the LL Bean shirt. The material was just SLIGHTLY lighter in weight. Hands down the better value.

It comes very wrinkled and it was hard to remove the wrinkles. I like it.
