Stay Away From Android-based Head Units!
I bought the DD2001 and these are my biggest gripes: GPS does a terrible job holding a signal making navigation practically useless. The Android version is seriously outdated and system settings are extremely shallow. The overall interface lacks a streamlined layout forcing you to deal with apps, even just to play music. The music interface is an app. The EQ is a separate app. You can't just tap an icon to instantly switch to the EQ. You have to minimize the player and open the EQ. They added steps to a process that has been streamlined for years. So the user experience is quite cumbersome to say the least. The lack of physical buttons forces you to use controls within apps that becomes a difficult task due to its tiny screen. And if you want to use an app that only has a portrait mode, you're SOL as the interface will not display the app properly. It's as if Insane Audio took a 1st gen Pixel XL phone and fashioned it to an amp. Last but not least, music quality could be a lot better. I have a feeling that this is due to the codecs used to feed the amp is as cheap as the app used to play the music files. You can buy a better music player on the Google App Store, but what kind of quality do you think you'll get for 10 bucks? Also, the fact that you can't find ANY information on the specs of the amp is shady at best. I wouldn't be surprised to find a direct auxiliary circuit from the front side of the unit (the phone) to the back directly to the speakers buried beneath the facade of amp circuitry. I'm a bit embarrassed to tell my friends that I feel like I wasted over a thousand dollars on a HU that was really worth $50. I'll just have to eat the loss and buy another HU from a more reputable audio manufacturer.

Heck yeah !!!
For the price of this unit I could have bought 5 very solid double din stereos, but I said screw it and got this thing instead ! After spending another measly $800 on high quality Monster cables and another paltry $200 on ultra enviro friendly solder I was set with this awesome stereo. I listened the living daylights out of my BT music and enjoyed the 2 random radio stations that came in clear, what else can you wish for ?!

Awesome unit
This unit has been installed in my 2015 JKU for about a month and it’s a fantastic experience. The unit installed easily, without any issues. The audio quality is absolutely awesome. I do have a fairly insane (no pun intended) subwoofer and this unit rocks! I have dozens of apps installed from the google play store........it does require a hotspot internet connection, but that’s easily resolved each start as it accesses my iPhone without issue.Tech support is also awesome. If you have a Jeep, this is the head unit for you. I highly recommend it.
