Functioned well
Poles arrived promptly. Used them last trip to Arizona and they were great. Length adjustments were easy and held tight. Really liked the cork handles.

Quality
Very sturdy and locks in place after you get the screws adjusted to the right tightness. Easy on the fly adjusting clips and easy to see the markings for the position you want the sticks. Cork handle is comfortable and highly reduces sweat. I like them better than my black diamonds. Time and usage will be the tell tale of long term durability.

I am very impressed with these Trekking Poles.
These polls are very well made, sturdy, easily adjusted for anyone's size, are comfortable to use, and make hiking a lot easier and safer. You can spend more, but why? Imo, these are all you need, and you won't be disappointed.

Built for the trail!
Just hiked/backpacked Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas. Thirty miles in two days, six ascents, tallest being 800’. Multiple river crossings, various terrain, etc. These poles exceeded my expectations!

A good quality product backed up by a high quality company and a CEO who who leads from the front!
Mons Peak IX provided excellent customer service when one of the collar locks failed. They responded immediately to my email, assured me the hiking poles were warranted and shipped out the needed replacement part very quickly. I was very pleased with the poles, and am even more pleased by the quality of the service I received. A class act start to finish!

Sturdy trekking poles
My left knee reminded on a recent hike with my family that it doesn’t like hiking down hill, and I took it easy but I still had a painful descent on the steep parts. I had been wanting to get a pair of trekking poles so got these to help with my knees. These poles are made from sturdy aluminum, with aluminum lever locks and easy to read height markings. The pair weighs about 1.2 pounds, collapses down to 25” long, and extents up to 53” with two extensions. There aren’t any instructions included, but youtube has many good tutorials for newbies. The markings on the tubes will tell you the height of the poles if you set both to the same number. For example, if you set both sections to 120 / 47 then total pole height will be 120cm or 47 inches. It’s nice way to quickly set them to the height you want. The lever locks were very loose when I first received the poles, but they are easy to adjust without tools by turning the burled nut on the back of the lever. Be sure to tighten them so they don't slip when you put your full weight on them. These poles don’t appear to have a left or right. The straps are the same and I find that the padding in the strap is too short and leaves part of my thumb rubbing up on the woven nylon strap. This set comes with wide and narrow baskets for snow or general use and also comes with rubber tips if you’re using them in sensitive areas. This set doesn’t come with a carry bag but does come with two plastic clips you can use to keep the poles together during storage.Pro- sturdy construction- cork handles- lever locks- easy to read height markings- carbide steel tipsCon- not enough strap padding for thumb- no carry bag- many cheaper poles on the market seem to have most of the features of these poles.
