Great camera for the money. Obviously it's a DIGITAL zoom. So before you get to those negative reviews remember that. Digital Zoom will NEVER be as good as optical. But I've seen more expensive cameras with that problem.The overall video options up to 4K are great. The videos I took with it at a drive thru safari came out amazing. The setting was at 1080p at 60fps. So not the highest, but exceptionally clear. Stabilization and zoom clarity were great too.The still pictures are equally as great, but that's where I HIGHLY recommend trying not to use as much zoom. The more you do (up to 16x) the more blurry it will be. That being said... Non-Zoomed came out beautiful.It's pretty user friendly. Not many buttons. Start/stop for video. Mode to switch between photo/video. Photo to snap the still shot. A slider for the zoom. That's pretty much it. Comes with instructions but honestly you could fumble around the options and still figure it out.The nice add-ons are great!!Bag fits all cords and equipment nicely.Boom mic sounds crystal! Is rechargeable AND can be used to charge/run camera.LED is perfect. Runs on 4AAs separately.Each item has a shoe so all three can be connected at once.Works great as a webcam/live streamer. (Spend the extra bit and buy Amazons cheap tripod for stability).Videos can be continuous or set to start/stop every 3-5-10min for easy sectional downloading to social media without editing.Holds two memory cards. 40min of video at 1080p and 16 of the highest quality pics only came to about 6gigs of a 128gig SD card. And the battery barely went down. And it comes with two batteries and all cords for multiple setups to various monitors/computers/tvs etc....Great camera! Worth every penny!Hope this helps.

Camcorder Returned the day after delivery.I am struggling to understand the comments of the 5 star 'verified reviews' for this camcorder. After reading every lackluster booklet this camcorder came with and setting up the camcorder just as instructed, the realization that I had been had, hit home.1. Absolutely not 4K resolution2. Both video and photo quality is bad3. The instruction booklets are not correct in some areas - It's as if the booklets try to cover several camcorder models4. The focus on this device is truly horrendous - No auto-focus and manual settings do not help5. Even following the instructions, the fuzzy video and photo results are disappointing6. The microphone is worse than the built-in sound the camcorder has - The noise and zapping are unacceptable7. The built-in sound is very 'tunnel' like and crackles upon playback.8. The bottom of the camera does not come with a hot shoe for use with a standard tripod - There is a place to screw in a tripod, but the inlet on the camcorder is not a standard tripod size and you cannot screw it in easily9. After trying to shoot less than 20 minutes of total filming, the camcorder started to turn itself off arbitrarily - That's when we both gave up and repackaged it for returnTwo suggestions for those who are considering this camcorder:1. Take a look at the last 1 minute of the video posted by Calvin Hall "Versatile Video Camera" under his review here on Amazon. That is the nearly the same quality I was able to achieve with this camcorder. It's unacceptable.2. If you prefer, simply try watching a VHS tape on your Smart TV. That is a great representation of the quality this camera can achieve.NOTES - After reading all the previous reviews for this camera before I returned it, I would like to make clear a few things that keep popping up on the reviews of those who give this camera it's low star rating.The battery was taken new from the bag, unwrapped and plugged in to charge for a full 8-hours before use in the camera. During this time, the booklets that came with the camera were each read cover-to-cover by two competent adults with vast digital/imaging electronics experience.The bottom line is this camcorder is worth a minimum fraction of its cost for what it actually delivers. It is about lack of quality, construction, and standard camcorder options that I arrive at my opinion of this product. Not lack of experience or knowledge.

In my opinion, replacing a camera with a mobile phone is not a wise choice, because the lens of a professional camera is far superior to a mobile phone camera. The video recorder I chose now is very small and light, and looks good in construction quality. The buttons are simple and clear, which are in the right position. There are many accessories available in the package, external microphone, wide-angle lens, fill light, 2 batteries, cables, and so on. The camera can record video at 4k resolution or 48MP images. But I prefer a higher frame rate, which can be adjusted in the settings. The camera is capable of 16X zoom and can zoom in. The biggest feature of this camera should be the infrared night vision function, which is not available in many other cameras. It is worth mentioning that the external microphone is very easy to use, and you must use it when you record it. I really like this camera. There are so many features and settings here that the results are great. I don't think the smartphone might replace it.

The bad:Camera came with an extra wide-algle lense which fits the camera in NO WAY whatsoever!Camera has fixed focus, so it's not so good for purposes like YouTube videos where you are recording short range.Build quality is so-so.The Good:Great quality video for events where the fixed focus works - like 20 feet or further from the lense.Dual battery included with the package is great to have.Good camera for the price for sure.The fact that you get dual batteries, a case and top mount microphone makes the package worth it.

It’s just not doing the lighting properly. The video is discolored. The camera provides video output is way too amateurish. I’ll most likely try to return it.It has no night vision.It is now not functioning properly. How do I return it?

This camera is cheap quality and does not have autofocus when you are paying 300$ for a camcorder you expect your money to be worth it do not buy this item i returned ut and now getting a cannon camera
