is it difficult to clean after each use?

The inner pot is easy to clean. If possible do not use soap for any cleaning. Use the auto clean feature on the unit from time to time, at least monthly. Replace the rubber packing annually. Remove the stainless disc and wash. Always wait for unit to cool before washing. Use q-tips for the top of the unit where the steam comes out. Use the included tool on the bottom of the unit for the top of the unit ONLY specifically where directed. Simply wipe the inner pot clean with a soft sponge. This will ensure the durability of the inner pot. The non stick coating is very good. If you can use silicone that would also prolong the durability of the inner pot.

Highly recommended

I've always loved the Japanese Zojirushi brand. This Korean brand was recommended by many of my Korean friends, so I bought it when it was on sale. It's really great. I love how the rice grains aren't too sticky but are still fluffy. Even better, when using high pressure cooking, white rice is ready in just 18 minutes. You can set the timer, and there's an English voice prompt. The brown rice is also incredibly delicious. I've never had brown rice this fluffy before. Highly recommended for anyone who eats rice every day.

Einfach nur toll

Unsere Erwartungen waren aufgrund der Geräte, welche wir schon im Einsatz hatten, hoch. Diese wurden aber dennoch übertroffen. Perfekt gegarter Reis in allen gewünschten Variationen - neben den weiteren vielfältigen Einsatzmöglichkeiten - eine leichte Reinigung und eine klar gegliederte Menüführung während des Kochvorgangs machen die Zubereitung zum Vergnügen. Zugegebenermaßen muss man sich doch eine gewisse Zeit nehmen die extrem umfangreiche Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen. Diese ist ebenso wie die Sprachführung in deutscher Sprache beiliegend bzw. eingestellt. Wir würden uns dieses Gerät trotz des höheren Preises jederzeit wieder zulegen.

The best rice cooker I ever had.

It is the best rice cooker I have ever owned. The rice cooker can make steamed rice in 15 minutes. The high pressure makes the rice sticky, or the low pressure can cook the rice for Kimbab. The new stainless steel inner pot is nice, but I don't know how long it will last this time. I had a non-IH Cuckoo rice cooker, but the inner pot coating started to bubble after 9 years. The only downside is accidental touch on the controls that are sensitive.
