These pants helped me hike through the Italian Dolomites. The hike got hot in the sun and cold in the shade through the mountains and I always felt comfortable. This versatility of always feeling cool and comfortable made me fall in love with them. These pants are also so light and soft that I almost thought I was naked. The crazy thing about these pants though is that they are so tough and stretchy that they lasted through being dragged against rocks without tearing. The pockets on these pants held my iPhone great and I was never worried about it falling off the side of the cliff. I bought one size up in the waistband because I tend to have a bigger rear-end and the fit was great. I just threw a belt on and never thought twice. Love these pants. Can’t wait to get more.

Pants are nice, I like them, but they are too long. Sick of ordering pants with measurements specific to myself and getting a lump of fabric of some dude named Fred who doesn't even own a ruler. Can you even really use the "different brands use different sizing" lie when you publish the intended measurements? Now I need to decide if I just return these and go back to Columbia, who I know own rulers, or resign myself to walking on my new pants til that part of my pants doesn't exist anymore.

These pants fit perfectly, are comfortable and look great. I have searched a lot for pants that are an alternative to jeans. These pants are exactly that. They are versatile and great for just about all occasions ranging from hiking to dress casual. In addition, the Rainiers are good for a wide range of temperatures. They are far more comfortable than jeans, stretch just a bit, and the nylon fabric is far superior to polyester or polyester blends used in some hikers. The range of colors is also quite wide. I just ordered another pair and they are highly recommended.

Stylish, water resistant, good pockets and they fit perfectly. Pay attention to the size guide though. I am 6ft with a 33 inch waist and I ordered the 32/32.
