Tips for successful planting in my review
When you get your seeds, put them in a Ziploc bag and toss them in your fridge for at least 4 weeks or until you're ready to plant. Poppies like a cold period. Prepare your garden bed early in the winter (rake out all the leaves and leave the exposed soil bare, then after a snowfall (preferably late in the winter), sprinkle the poppy seeds over the snow. The seeds will settle into the soil as the snow melts, and in early summer, you'll be flush with poppies! If you don't live in a climate with freezing winters, then preparing them in the refrigerator for 3 months before planting is ideal to trick them into thinking they're in the right climate. They will be late to germinate and they will look like weeds until just before they bloom, so try not to forget you planted them & absent-mindedly rip them up before the payoff. Hope this helps! (I live in zone 6b). I was happy with these seeds... Every bloom was a gorgeous surprise, different in size, color, and form. Many of these even bloomed in part sun locations! (Poppies love gravely, sandy & well-drained soil)

Absolutely gorgeous!
A must for your seed garden. What a wonderful surprise to see these germinated and some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen.

None of them grew
bummed but none of these took off this year. I've bought other seeds in the past from another company and tried these but none of them sprouted into flowers.

Used these to fill small bags for baby shower.

Patience
I planted these last year around June of 2021 right after I received them. They didn’t bloom in 2021 but they just started blooming last week, June 25 2022. I think there’s a right time to plant these and I planted them late in 2021 so that’s why they are now growing in 2022. It’s worth it. I walk out every morning and see new flowers. It’s a delight - I don’t know what I’m going to get when I walk out in my garden every morning, but I know it’s new beauties every time.

These are my favorite Poppies and they did come up finally
I normally correct reviews if I have made an error. Well I did with this one. These are the most Beautiful Poppies I have ever seen, I got two more packages this year and two on the subscribe and save. They are annuals and I try to avoid annuals because my Flower Beds are large and many and I only have so much space in the city. I used to have 2 acres in the country and it was wall to wall garden. I don't know how I ever kept so many beds. But I would go out everyday and work on them and I knew ever detail of them and if something was giving it a hard time. I knew how to get rid of it. Say a vine that was choking off a plant. There is one out there that is called the Creeping Charlie and it is a very pretty purple flower almost like violets but smaller, but they are a vine that will choke out your plants. So periodically you have to keep your eye on that and get rid of them because they will overtake your plant. These Beautiful Poppies are nothing but sweet. I was over anxious living in Maine and we don't have much of a summer - 1 month the other two are set up for summer and put back from summer. I guess the only reason why we do gardening is that we love it so much. I also had a husband that told me if I wanted flowers then I plant them and I did.

Feeling like I made a donation for weeds
Uodate: June 10, 2922. Final report 2022. 1 final single poppy bloom today. It is the largest and fluffiest, exactly what I THOUGHT I was getting, but still shorter. I've enjoyed a different bloom almost daily, but very disappointed overall.I do not consider this a great value. I will plant again this fall from the remaining seeds. However, I had soooo much chickweed show up, they will not be planted in the ground. I will try a flat or pot of seeds. Update: May 30, 2022. I have gotten more blooms. They are great if you plan to hunt for them. Not 12" as described, more like 4-6"! Some blooms no bigger than my thumbnail. They were dwarfed by surrounding weeks and zinnias.Increasing from 1-3. We have enjoyed the blooma, but prertty underwhelming Update: originally wrote this April 10, 2022.Now, May 13, 2022... I've gotten one tiny poppy bloom and I'm seeing 2-3 more like this coming soon. STILL pulling out chickweed. Not much promise with this though. Certainly not very likely to see the fluffy pink blooms shown pictured on the product listing. Purchased January 2022. I did cold stratification in a damp papertowel for 30 days. The seeds were already sprouting in the refrigerator. Poured them over the flower bed by March 1. Here they are April 9, looking like a very large patch of chickweed. Nothing looks close to Poppies yet. Even the package has conflicting information. Why does it mention wild bee balm under germination and growth?Very disappointed. I'm happy to update this if it proves me wrong, but these 'weeds' are taking up prime growing real estate. These 'seeds' are not looking much like poppy seeds.

Beautiful! These were gorgeous!
The media could not be loaded. I never leave reviews. I sowed these a a little late in the spring and I wasn’t sure how good they would even turn out. I should have sowed them at end of winter! I was worried they were weeds coming up at first but I was patient and then they started blooming! They were beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous! It’s not rocket science you just sow them and water them and wait for them to bloom! I planted them in a garden area with other flowers. My only regret is not planting more in other areas around my house! These were a great purchase! I will buy again!
