Q: Why does photo say 1,000 mg and description says 500mg?

The serving size is 2 capsules that are 500mg a piece. When you take 2 it equals 1,000mg. There are 60 servings per bottle at 1,000mg.

Q: Is this made from cranberries or some other ingredient?

This D-Mannose is the active ingredient found somewhat in cranberries, that combats the bacteria that may become UTI's; it is a simple sugar found in many fruits. Recommended to me by a renowned urologist who really knows her stuff. Don't know the origin of the extraction; unsure of what fruits they are using, but far more effective than trying to use cranberry, or any of the herbal extracts for UTI aversion. Made in America, non-gmo, gluten free, non-caloric - I swear by it.

Q: Any IC sufferers have any flares from this? Does it also help the Urethra pain of IC? Is this made from cranberries or some other ingredient?

According to the ingredients list on the product label, it does not contain cranberry. I have IC, hence the the reason that I take this product. I feel that it has helped alleviate symptoms greatly, and also feel that it does prevent flareups from occurring as often as they might without the use of this product. I would recommend you give it a try!
