Overpriced disappointment
This is a disappointment. My kids love it, otherwise I'd return it for something better. I got it because I thought they'd be able to practice hammering and screwing things into the work table, but if you put it together how it's supposed to be, there's no room for that. Hammering is pointless because all of the bolts just slip on through and they love the drill because it moves and makes noise, but the drill bits fall right out, they don't stay in at all, so they can't even see what a drill actually does. My kids will make anything fun for themselves, but this was a big waste of money.

Great tool set for kids
I was a bit skeptical whether my 3 year old will play with the set, but I was completely wrong. We have had the set for a couple of days and my son wants to play with it a few times every day for 20 to 30 minutes. The parts let you build a "work table" or a "tool box". We assembled the work table very quickly the first day. The manufacturer included a really nice set of tools with this set: we got a hammer, a wrench, a screwdriver that runs on batteries (2 AA's included), pliers, kids' calipers, a drill bit, T-handle nut driver and a saw. It might sound like an odd combination but my son knew how to use most of them! I guess Bob the Builder cartoons do teach kids something. LOL.I think he likes the hammer and saw the most at thin point. He pretends to do cuts on plastic pieces I put in front of him and hammers away anything I put on his little work table.I really like this set.

Frustrating and not as advertised
I researched the reviews for this item but am very disappointed. The drill does not actually work to turn the screws regardless of the bit you use, the directions were way too confusing for even a very bright (lego competent) 6 yr old, and it's basically a useless set. The children cannot build anything because you need to finger tighten the deeply set screws. The instructions are a set of pictures that show the wrong color on the pieces - so the kids were confused as they tried to find the "blue piece that looks like this" only to have it be a yellow piece, etc. If you just want some plastic tools such as hammer, wrench, drill to pretend with then it's fine. But there are no nails to hammer, the drill and screwdriver doesn't fit the screws at all, and the wrench doesn't fit the bolts. Save your money.

What? Screws but screwdriver doesn't turn them! (And it's tiny)
This comes with an electric screw driver. Cool, right?Bzzzzzt! Wrong! The screw driver, both electric and the manual one, do not turn the screws that come with the set.WHY??!? It frustrates my little guy every single time he goes to play with it.Oh and it's tiny. Like 18" or so tall tiny.

We are happy to purchase this toy workbench tool box set.
We are happy to purchase this toy workbench tool box set. The set has a nice variety of tools that our kids are constantly curious about, having seen their dad use many of them. It also comes with some “building materials” so that our kids and pretend to construct something. There aren’t a lot of very small pieces and the larger “tools” can’t harm our kids. The set has given our kids hours of fun trying to “help me out” when I’m doing some home repairs or working on a project.

You get what you pay for.
Decent for the price, the Pliers, screwdriver and hammer all broke. Surprisingly enough, although the drill feels the most flimsy it has lasted the longest. Haven’t put the bench/tool box together because I already had a tool bench that seemed more like a tool bench than the one included in this bundle. You get what you pay for.

Cheap, Good for Couple of Uses
All pieces were there but unfortunately one piece came broken and it’s vital when assembling into a workbench. We tried crazy glue, Elmer’s glue and hot glue. Nothing kept the piece together so it’s just useless. The screw on the battery compartment to the drill arrived stripped so we cannot put batteries in it but my son keeps himself entertained by banging on the entire thing with the hammer and using the wrench to screw the nuts to the bolts. Overall it’s okay. I wouldn’t really recommend it.
