The Fuzztones Live, in their prime
I've seen a lot of Fuzztones incarnations live, and this one was the best. Contrary to their other two live albums, this focuses on their own compositions instead of covers. All are excellently played and some are quite different from the studio versions. The long version of "She's Wicked" for example, kicks ass. And on "Strychnine", Rudi changes the lyrics from "taste of straight strychnine" to "a taste of 69", which I found hillarious. His on-stage banter is also hillarious. If you're asking yourself "Why is Strychnine not track-listed?", it's because it's a vinyl-only bonus track. I strongly suggest to buy the vinyl version (which is what I have), since there are other bonus tracks too. And what about the cover and -even more pornographic- inner illustrations? It really is beyond belief!
