Great Belt if it was the correct one. I order the correct one that was suppose to fix my mower. I did not need it until today, and though it would fix, but it was almost two inches too long. Now it too late to return.

Put this belt on my mower deck. I have only used the mower about 2 or 3 times since. It is suppose to be the correct part, but seems a little too loose to me. It slipped off once, but that could have been a grass clog. I am not sure. I will be using the mower more as soon as I can. Time will tell how well this belt performs. So far it is okay.

Belt fits perfectly. Good replacement belt. My mower goes through belts almost regularly, went to a larger mower and the belt size is the same as my 42"! It's a Craftsman mower that in the past have been exceptional. My old one lasted 20 years and I never changed either belt, not the case with this one. I keep a spare.

I put this on my mower and it seems to hang too loose. I didn't have an alternative to get the lawn mowed so I have been using it, as is. It pops off if I quickly disengage the mower blade. I can keep it from popping off if I disengage it v.e.r.y.s.o.w.l.y...Now, because of the fit, there seems to be an excessive amount of wear after just three hours of mowing. Clearly I can't return it but what worries me more is whether or not I can make it through the rest of the season without breaking down.

Perhaps I ordered wrong one but it matched the numbers that my Craftsman manual said to get. When disengaged, the belt hangs way outside of the pulleys. When engaged it will spin the blades but while stationary I can easily turn the blades. I set it aside for an "emergency", went to Lowes & bought a shorter one & it works fine
