Clarity! At last.
I really like Ken Adams’ blog for drafting tips, so I finally decided to get his book. Now, if only I could convince other attorneys I work with or against to use it too, rather than their loyalty to confusing old templates...An excellent resource for any attorney drafting any sort of agreement (and probably litigators too, for interpretation). Ken uses court cases to back up his claims which makes it a handy reference tool as well, though ymmv on convincing other (USAmerican) attorneys that best efforts really isn’t substantially better than commercially reasonable efforts (but you know what’s better still? Actual clarity and guidance! But so many attorneys still prefer the shortcut and vague insinuation of ‘best efforts’; ah well).Pick it up. It’s the resource you need to supplement those Contract Law classes that never got around to teaching you how to draft an actual contract.

This book is very practical for lawyers and law students.
For me, it is helpful to think differently for drafting and preparing contracts, so I recommend the book who wishes to learn and apply the modern styles of contract drafting.

Best primer on common K terms
I review commerical agreements for a living, Mr. Adams suggestions are clear, concise, and backed up by case law. There isn't a better guide to contracts available.

If you write contracts, just get this book.
Ken Adams’ insights are well supported by logic and case law, and I’ve heavily used this book since the third edition to improve the clarity of the contracts I write. I haven’t found anything else that compares. So that this doesn’t sound like a paid ad: I don’t like the new green and black color scheme of the cover. There - I said it.
