This sub shade is decent quality and fits our 2025 Forester windshield well. Perfect for when I park outside on a hot sunny day when covered parking isn't available. I have no idea where the 40F claim comes from, but it keeps the interior cooler and protects the interior from sun damage. Easy to twist to fold and store. The round sunshade container bag does indeed cover the steering wheel but I wouldn't use that unless maybe leaving my car unused in the summer sun for weeks on end. With the sunshade folded inside the bag, it barely fits in the passenger seatback pocket for easy access whenever needed.

Fits my windshield perfectly. The velcro opening around the rear view mirror secures it in place well and ensures full coverage. It's a bit like a jack in the box upon opening at times and you need to make sure you don't have anything in its way when doing so but it is easy to collapse again. Definitely keeps my car cooler in the hot Florida sun.
