I found myself messing with the bobby pins all night, but it's light enough that it does in fact stay up pretty well with just the pins if you don't jostle it too much. The hanging bits are a nice touch.

Very pretty
Beautiful mask. Light weight and delicate. When I ordered it I thought that the hanging stuff may be a little too over the top for me, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it.
