Gran: Series 1 [DVD]

First let me say how great the seller is, i forgot to order this dvd for my nieces birthday and only had days to spare, i contaced the seller to see if they would send this out to me as fast as possible and they replied to me straight away saying they would send the dvd out 1st class which they did and i got it the next day so i have to say i had a fist class service from them, as for the dvd my niece was delighted with it as it was a childhood love of hers and she`s over the moon with it, so many thanks to all involved :)))))))))

My grandma borrowed this off of her friend when I was three. However, it was the VHS version, which had only 12 episodes on it. After having memories of my gran, my sister and I sitting down to watch the video, I decided to buy it off of here (it's not exactly a lot, isn't it?)This is the full collection, all 13 episodes (they missed the first one off the VHS edition). There isn't much else on the DVD, except a LOT of advertisements.But I do recommend this to younger children (and fans of Postman Pat.) but I do want to say something- keep an eye on her slippers! (They're everywhere!)

Lovely DVD as remembered watchingHran as a small child. Now play it for my young daughter and son. Highly recommend.

Another addition to my Ivor Wood collection. Pity this programme didn't get the feedback it deserves when it first broadcasted but will still be a favourite of mine.

I bought this as a retro gift - the original series was on VHS - was very pleased to get hold of the DVD

Excellent stuff! *Jim does look a lot like a young Paul Merton!*Classic kids' TV from the early '80s.The programme was made at Woodland Animations and was written by Michael and Joanne Cole. Ivor Wood created thirteen five-minute episodes in 1982.EXCELLENT!!!!!

Brilliant! As good as I remembered it all those years ago - strange that the words to the song came flooding back easily!
