The doctor prescribed me iron tablets, I took the tablets supplied by the chemist for a couple of months but noticed I had started to feel sluggish and felt full all of the time. After reading an article about iron tablets and how they can cause constipation, I realised that was the side effects I was suffering from, I made the decision to look for an alternative product, that’s when I found Active Iron, I decided to try Active Iron as the advertisement clearly stated that it doesn’t give you constipation, so I gave them a try and have been taking them every day since. I am happy with the product, I have found a way to get the iron my body needs without the side effects.

Does not make me feel sick unlike other cheaper options. Does not affect my poo, convenient that you need only one capsule a day. Also, I have got restless leg syndrome, and noticed that one capsule taken just before bed removes this syndrome in the first night ! Of course I taken them regularly, so one capsule does not cure it, it is just a result iron deficiency

I started using these iron tablets as a blood donor with low iron levels. Unfortunately they didn't help to increase my iron levels but the tablets were easy to take and did not cause constipation.

I struggle swallowing pills. This was so easy to do with active iron! It does smell a little funny, but you soon get used to it!I have an iron deficiency and heard horrible things about iron supplements and how they can upset your stomach. I’m on week 3 of these meds and have lots more energy and luckily no stomach issues either. I am certain it is working for me and am so pleased I found this product. I had dreadful side effects of the deficiency and these are beginning to subside!

I have been struggling to keep my iron levels up for more than thirty years. I have been on prescribed medication and tried an extensive array of over the counter iron supplements; nothing has worked without leaving me with a sluggish digestive system and a annoying stomach ache, but this product is light on the stomach, I can take it on the go without having to make sure I need to eat something at the same time. I’ve seen a difference in my energy levels within a week. A great product for me.

Thoroughly recommended though as a man (and a big and tall one at that) I have been inclined to take three a day rather than one a day. However one per day probably IS enough and at three per day I DID find that they caused constipation. No blame on them though because if you take just one per day as recommended that shouldn't happen.

I take these Active Iron tablets regularly as they are gentle and don't upset my stomach. I have been prescribed iron tablets before, but after a few days they have always caused stomach discomfort. I have been vegetarian for a few years, but have always tended to be slightly anaemic, even though I eat a healthy, varied diet. I therefore need to take low-dose iron regularly, and these are just the job!

I took for anaemia and are very good. I struggle with low iron levels being a coeliac from time to time. Unfortunately I won't be buying at this price as it's nearly £10 more expensive than last time. Sorry but ridiculous
