Bruner-Ivory 811-21 60-Inch Eye Hoe and Fire Rake Handle (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I got hoe head,s but had to buy handles separate which worked great.

This handle is high quality Ash wood specially shaped for fitting the round tapered 1.75 inch eye hoe. One end is enlarged and tapers to fit the hoe which must be slipped on to the handle from the smaller end. While it has a small hole drilled into the side of the hoe I did not screw it to the handle -- it was not necessary as the hoe head fit tightly and so far has not come loose (I'm not expecting it to either). The 60-inch length is more comfortable when using the hoe than other shorter ones I have previously owned. Incredible value for such quality.

For the price, I would have expected heavier more dense quality wood but it looks like regular vanilla pine. Very light as well. O well, what can a man do about that! Fits the eye hoe very well and makes a solid compression fit so it won’t go flying off when I use it. Much better than your traditional shovel when trying to dig a hole or take dirt out of a trench when laying pipes.

So glad I could find this handle. Very straight grained wood, fit perfectly and has been in use for almost 2 weeks!

This handle is perfect for medium sized hoes or picks and is quite sturdy. Please note it has a 1-3/4" end diameter so verify your tool eye diameter before ordering.

It's only good as by itself (use as a walking trail stick), but when you integrated with the hoe; then it won't work. The handle is smaller than the eye hoe. It isn't fit properly. And they want to charge restocking fee (25%) and no shipping fee. Forget it. I'd rather burn it. I'll never buy it again!
