Love this desk mat but the only improvement needed would be better grip to keep it from moving around on the desk.

The background is shades of mediums and dark blues, the leaves are different shades of purple with gold-ish/tan outlines, and the flowers are mostly reds, pinks, and orange, with some teal, whites, blues, and purples tossed in. All in all, it's strikingly beautiful in person.It came in a soft, silicone like drawstring pouch. If you roll the pad up tight enough the pouch may be reusable for traveling purposes. The seams to the pouch seem easily stretched, though, so I don't think it'll suffer a lot of abuse from continued rough handling.There was an interesting smell when I initially opened the pouch, a kind of chemical + sweet herbal scent. The material the pad is made of smells pretty strongly initially, but dissipates quickly after opening. They put a vanilla scented satchel in the center to combat the smell of the material. I appreciate the gesture.The seams on the pad are really well done, there are no loose threads or uneven lines. No imperfections on any of the fabrics. It's durable, and stands up to abuse. You'd have to put a lot of effort into damaging this thing.I'm happy. As long as the off-gasing doesn't prove to be carcinogenic. 🤣

I love that this mouse pad is over sized. I love the design on this. It’s a must if you are looking for an over sized mouse pad.

Use on my home office desk. I added a stand up desk converter to my desk for my dual monitors, with my laptop, keyboard and mouse still on the main desk. The converter didn't leave very much room for a traditional mousepad and i was constantly shifting the mousepad around to try to get it to fit. Bought this extra large mouse pad, and it fits perfectly between the sides of the stand up desk converter and gives me the space i need for my mouse. Stays in place. And the pattern is so pretty! Combine with ODISTAR desktop vacuum cleaner, it cleans up so easily!

I'm using this to save the top of an old wooden desk. The finish has deteriorated some and it was getting uncomfortable to use the desk for typing. The cover has kept surprisingly clean and I'm able to easily wipe it with a damp cloth to get smudges. It has not worked well at all with my wireless mouse and I find that I have to put something extra under that in order for it to track movement. I don't know if this is because of the fabric or the design that I chose. I suspect it's because there's an area in the design that's more open and plain and that's right where I use the mouse most. The only thing that I would change would be the stitching around the edges. The thread used can be a little rough if your wrists and forearm rub against it for long.

Purchased 1 mats different vendors. This one is excellent! Thick and does not move around at all (good grip). The colors are fantastic and since it’s black background it hides stains very very well. Highly recommend!!
