One of Sarah's coolest albums
This album is a trip, and totally different from her other albums, but it's great through and through. True, "Time To Say Goodbye" sounds like it has nothing to do on this album, but once you get past that, you score with the mysterious "The Fly," the awesome, theatrical epic "A Question Of Honor," the Rolling Stones(!)-esque "Ghost In The Machinery," the bombastic, hip-hop laced duet with Tom Jones "Something In The Air," and my personal favorite, "I Loved You," which features Sarah rapping!! And she does it great! Sort of reminiscent of Maxi Priest's rap on "Close To You," or Tracy Thorn of Everything But The Girl rapping on "Flipside," an awesome, forgotten track from their brilliant "Walking Wounded" album. As a final note, "You Take My Breath Away" was resurrected and included as a bonus track on the U.S. version of her 2004 album "Harem."

Modified from the original?
It would appear as though this, the 1997 reissue, differs slightly from the original 1995 issue. Aside from the addition of "Time To Say Goodbye," it also appears as though the original version of "How Can Heaven Help Me" was replaced with its video version. I have not heard the original version, but information I have read indicates that the original version is less "rock heavy." It's not bad, but the editing leaves something to be desired. It's as if they forgot to add a fade-out.All that aside though, I am just irritated at this trend of modifying albums any time they're reissued. I have the same complaint over Rhino's reissues of a couple of Chicago's albums (LP versions were replaced with their radio edits).

Fly - A Pie In The Sky Album
What a wonderful album by Sarah Brightman and an even more wonderful seller, who gave this to me just the way the description said. I highly recommend both the item and the seller. The album is a testament to classical crossover at its best, with songs like "The Fly", "Why", "Ghost In The Machinery", and "Heaven Is Here" standing out the most. The songs "A Question of Honour" and "You Take My Breath Away" are good as well. It was certainly worth the price I paid.

and this is by far my favourite album of hers & also her most experimental/edgy
Sarah Brightman just NEVER disappoints, and this is by far my favourite album of hers & also her most experimental/edgy, with a very '90s alternative rock feel to most of it. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes good, classic music from an oft-forgotten or ignored part of Sarah's career.

Something different
A completely different style from the Broadway classical genres Sarah Brightman is known for. Quite enjoyable to listen to her taking on the risk, and exploring new styles. I'd say it is an unconventional album worth having.

And Older Sarah offering showing the bright promise ahead
Well, I'm a big fan of Ms. Brightman, though I've only seen her once in person (Harem tour). It was well worth the journey and the money. Amazing talent. This earlier album is no less wonderful than anything she has done. Just love everything she puts her voice and talent toward.

Some great songs
I play this CD almost every day. Not all of it, I must admit. But several of the tracks have become my favourite Sarah Brightman songs. I like the sound. The Euro-techno/ soft rock. If I'm honest, I prefer her voice on albums such as this and Dream Chaser to the plodding cross over material like Symphony. I opted for the 1996 version of the CD because the latest edition has Time to Say Goodbye which just does not fit in with the rest of the album at all and wasn't originally supposed to be there. I just have to hunt down Fly 2 now!

Sarah mets Rock
The combination of Sarah's voice and uptempo beats, eletric guitars and a rocky style results in a very different album.Different in a good way. This is one of her best, so far.
