Carter is hard to beat!
I recently decided to give this a go and have been shooting a 3 finger Wise Choice for the past two years. First, the build quality on a Carter release is outstanding, and you get what you pay for. These are smooth and consistent releases and in turn, this makes you a more accurate archer. I've literally shot thousands of arrows with Carter releases and never once had a malfunction. I am learning to shoot the four-finger release after using a three-finger for so long and if nothing else, it makes your draw easier. I find that it is just as smooth as the three-finger and recently shot it at a 3-D tournament. I have to say that of the two, I am leaning more toward this four-finger version because of the ease of draw adding that additional finger provides. I don't think you can go wrong with this or any Carter release.

This is what you need. Just buy it, you won’t regret it
I was between this release and a Stan. I cannot speak of the Stan or if this is the better/best option. I can say with certainty that this release is amazing. I absolutely love it and I would recommend it and it’s 3 finger model to anyone and everyone. The machining that went into this release is a thing of beauty.

Works perfectly
Works perfectly, fit and finish is amazing. I think i would go for the 3 finger if i were to go back in time. The 4 finger works just as good, but 3 finger would be smaller to fit in pocket

it works
accuracy of course depends on the shooter, not the release. but I really like it.

Should have bought the 3 finger
4 finger could be more comfortable at the gap between the third finger and pinky; it's a little "sharp." Of course, one-size-fit-all often entails compromises. The three-finger would probably more comfortable for me. Other issue is the thumb button, which has little range of adjustment and I find it hard to curl the thumb over once at full draw.
