Can frhis be used with 220 volt current?

No, it cannot. This model is designed for use on 120 V.A.C. only. Check with the manufacturer for any models designed for 220 volt operation.

Sorry, it is not battery operated. It's a good stapler - only thing I don't like is that it makes a really LOUD noise when stapling, but it does go through up to 25 sheets of 20# paper. Hope that helps.

Does the power behind this electric stapler break up the bar of standard staplers, causing jams?

I've had this for a couple years now and have never had a jam.

How long is the cord?

I can't get to cord as it is under my desk, but I'm sure it is about six feet. Extra: it really does staple at least twenty-five sheets. which I really need.
