Bamboo Modern Computer Desk Writing Study Table for Home Office Living Room

I was really happy with how this desk looked once assembled. In my opinion the wood looks better than the pictures. It began cracking across the surface and bottom of the desk soon after I assembled it though. I'm in the Midwest and I assume this has something to do with the dryness of my apartment so I began oiling it with some wood oil. I think this stopped or slowed the cracking. The wood is still swelling a little bit though, making the surface uneven. I think if this is just the nature of the wood, the desk should come with some instructions for care. I feel like if I had been oiling off the bat I could've avoided some cracking.

This desk is "well made" for what it is. It's not a heavy duty piece and I'm not sure how much weight it can support. If you're sitting at the desk with a laptop/desktop ordering on Amazon, it should be fine. I liked that it has a system for organizing ugly cables, and the bamboo wood is nice. Unfortunately desktop came in with a small nick right in front; I'm not going to return it because it's too much of a hassle, instead, will try to smooth out and touch up. My opinion, desk is perfect as a backup or in a guest bedroom. Packing was solid.

I have four standing when it comes to buying Furniture off of Amazon. “Great, Good, OK and Crappy. This desk falls in the category of OK. It’s probably good enough for a dorm room or just your small office. I do think it’s overpriced by about $30. Just be careful when you tighten the screws down, just tighten the screws down snug. Only took me 15-20minutes to put together. It did have some cosmetic flaws. But not enough to return.

Based on other reviews I had some concerns about buying this desk. But, I really like it and cannot find fault with it. I am over 65 and not too mechanically inclined, but it was easy to put together with helpful instructions. I love the hard and well finished hard bamboo wood. It is sturdy and works well my size (over 6 foot and 225 pounds). And, it is inexpensive for a desk. A real value.

I use this desk for my home office. The computer cables can all be neatly tucked behind. If you don't need any drawers or shelves, this desk is great. Plain and simple.

Great quality wood (bamboo), sturdy and beautiful look & feel. Thoughtful design. Assembles very sturdily, doesn't look like a desk that came in pieces. Perfect packaging (no damage at all). In sum, the best desk I've ever purchased!

This desk is gorgeous. I’m looking forward to using it for homeschooling.

At first it was one, but I've had this for less than 2 months and the surface keeps cracking, leaving large uneven spaces in the desk top.Nothing heavier than my keyboard and monitor on it.
