Winch Wench cup holder
I like that it fits in the winch to be out of the way. We have not been out on the boat yet to really test it. We usually use 30 oz. steel cups (like Yeti) for cocktails or water. I am not exactly sure how they will hold in here as the cup holder is not very tall for the weight of this cup. The picture shows bottle or cans in a coozie in the holders. We will also give that a go.I didn't notice that this was a 2 pack and accidently ordered 2 of them now I have too many.... my fault.

Addresses a much needed tool
Solid construction, it's going to break but it'll take some effort. Works pretty well when motoring or at the dock. Help my beer safely all weekend.

Your friends will be jealous
Pull these out while your boat is at anchor and everyone else in the anchorage will be paddling up to ask where you got them. They are big enough to fit a can in a koozie inside. Before buying them though, make sure your winches are fairly level-- if your winches are canted outboard (as many are), these will not work without spilling some of your precious beverage.Once in the winches, these stay in until you remove them. We have inadvertently left ours in overnight on evenings with brisk winds but they have always been there in the morning.I wish the seller would make one with a slot cut in the side to accommodate the handle of a coffee mug.

Smart idea
Great idea, we have had countless cans & cups spill over the years now they’re safe & no clean up

Simple, reliable holder of GPS, VHF, Coldys
I had two of these while I sailed around the world on a small boat. I see reviewers being concerned about things falling out. I always had my handheld gps (the only one onboard), the handheld vhf or a coldy in one of the Winch Wenches. I experienced deep knockdowns and never had anything fall out. I had waves crashing over the boat while crossing the Indian Ocean. One my favorite sail got washed overboard but there was my Winch Wench with a coldy still in it, water pouring out the drain holes in the bottom.

it has a nice snug fit
This bottom of this device could be used to measure the wear on your winches. On older winches it is a bit wobbly but has not fallen out, though might on a hard heal. On newer winches, it has a nice snug fit. If the bottom was a star like winches rather than a square, it could have a secure in all winches. However, even with the biggest, fattest koozie I could find, a twelve-ounce can is rather loose in this holder. Would have been nice to have a selection of cheesy logos and colors to from rather than just one. Given these issues and being almost ten bucks each, I won't buy more of these for my boat.

Not the best for tilted winches
I really liked the idea of this cup holder, however, there is a slight outward tilt on our winches and the holder thus does not sit fully upright and the fit is not fully tight in the winch either. Unfortunately, we lost one of the cup holders overboard the first time we used them. I would not suggest using this model with tilted winches.
