Planet Earth - The Making of an Epic Series

Amazing journey !! Must read for every BBC Earth fan .

Although I would still prefer a "making-of" feature included in the DVD, this book fills the void. There are many wonderful photographs and amazing stories told by the documentary's makers. If you loved "Planet Earth" you will want to read this.

I love the "Planet Earth" series, and i consider it as one of the best documentaries i've ever seen in my life, that was the only reason that drove me to get the book that tells the story of the making of this epic series, the book tells all the stories that were behind the making of this piece of arts, have a lot of nice photos too, it really shows that such a great work must have a great efforts behinds it, i really liked the book and its stories so much, i wanted to feel what was behind that great work and the book did a good job in that, wish that i could get the videos of the making also.

A 128 page paper back book containing information as to how the BBC's Planet Earth was filmed and how each and every researcher and photographer went through the ordeal of filming the sequences. Quite an interesting account about their adventure and techniques that were employed to make this successful serial. A very interesting documentation.
