Joint Strike Fighter: Boeing X-32 Vs Lockheed Martin X-35 (Enthusiast Color Series) Paperback – January 1, 1999

Book simply provides a great overview of the various aspects of the development of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). Having been involved with the X-35B STOVL variant, I found the content to provide good commentary and for readers, plus many excellent pictures of the different variants.

Could have used some more accurate three views, in the case of the X-35 any at all would have helped. The book, like all books from Mr. Sweetman, contained an excellent technical breakdown of the aircraft involved and the programs in place to complete them. Sweetman seems to have a nack for finding rare photos of the subjects in his books, another plus for those who use them as research materials. Overall I found it to be an excellent book full of details about a program that is still difficult to research through other sources.
