Just about the only book on how to weave all four varieties of doubleweave on three heddles (the fourth heddle is invisible!). Very good explanation. Already tried it out on a sampling loom and managed to do a closed tube, open tube, and double-thick single layer. So *that's* how they weave fire-hoses without a seam. They also use the closed tube method to make polyester artery graft replacements for if you get an aneurysm which you really, really don't want to get. You use the double wide weave to weave a blanket twice the width of the loom, which is way better than getting a huge loom and never being able to walk through the living room again. Good book.

I just started weaving but know where I'm heading. So when I saw this book and the great reviews it was getting and the low number of books still available, I knew I needed it for my library before it disappeared. I've learned my lesson of - well they will print more (not always).I glanced through it, the pictures look clear and easy to follow, the directions made sense when I read through them and there are twills! Something I know I want to do - so I'm positive that when I'm ready, skill wise, this book will be there to take me on the next step. Thank you!

I did not know you could do so many things on a rigid heddle. This is a great little book for exploring more complicated structures on a rigid heddle than just plain weave and multiple yarns for textural fabrics. With just the addition of a few more reeds a whole world opens up. If you can't afford a standard floor loom and you want something exciting, try this on your rigid heddle loom.

I enjoyed learning this process of weaving with 3 heddles. The instructions were clear. But by the end of the lessons I knew that I wanted a 4 shaft loom.Thank you.

This is absolutely the BEST book EVER written on rigid heddle weaving. I’m a veteran weaver with a floor loom but needed to spend 3 weeks away from home. Using this book I wove 5 twill kitchen towels.

This low-tech book is informative, the author is sincere and responsive. When I had a question and emailed him he got right back to me. I will learn a lot from this book and highly recommend it.
