(edited 06/07) 2 and half months after initial review
edit 06/07/2016 (2 and half months after got product)first unit started a clicking noise that got progressively worse, to the point i ended up getting it replaced2nd unit leaked3rd unit leaked4th unit eventually came and worked great again.I have taken this from my initial 5 star to 3 simply because the leaking thing, i can't hand on heart say that you will get one that wont leak, going by the reviews there is more chance it will leak. Someone who reviewed this product explaining why it leaks needs to be sent to swiftech to address this immediately. The unit still looks fantastic, i totally love how it looks and performs, but getting a working one seems to be the biggest hurdle.-----------------------------------------------------------original review-I understand swiftech was an American company but it was only after reading so many positive things about them did I decide to go for this when I spotted it on UK amazon. That mixed with the fact I was so sick of my corsair h100i, which was noisy and and had developed a bit of a high pitched squeal so I decided let's go for this one..I installed this into a corsair carbide 540 air series so plenty of space for the radiator and the reason I went with the 240 instead of the 220 (wonder why they didn't just call it 240 and 280 though since that would've made more sense as 220 is 240mm and 240 is 280mm..)I had seen plenty of YouTube reviews for the h240x but not the x2, mostly because the only change was the transparent tubing which I can say I totally love.. It's nice to get a feel for what exactly is happening in there. The fact that you can then decide later to add a gpu block or more tubing is what really made this decision for me.As for performance, I used this with coollaboratory ultra paste and not the one that came with the cooler and temps wise it really blew my old corsair h100i out the waterGot a i7 4790k oc to 4.6 currently and full load prime 95 and aida 64, I'm getting temps of around 58-63cIdling I'll be honest isn't much different than my h100i, sitting around 26 to 28 (remember I'm in Glasgow where it's freezing so ambient room temp not an issue lol)It's during the stress testing this thing out performs other AIO water cooling solutions I've previously used, the fact that it also looks really nice is a huge bonusThe box itself came with 3 different colour dye (red blue and a gold type colour) which are optional and very easy to add using a screw on the side of the reservoir. Or you can just leave it clear if that's your thing..Overall so far I am extremely pleased and would recommend this fully

Lucky Number 4
This is a difficult review to write. I was actually waiting for the release of this version after the original was scored so highly. In terms of product build quality I can't say I've owned anything worse. I was sent 4 of these before I got one that didn't leak. It must be a common fault in the manufacturing process. So lets say you chance it and hope to get one that's not going to leak coolant all over your PC, how good is it?Well if you want to take the gamble and get lucky, the cooling on this is exceptional, in fact it's the best cooler I've ever come across. I've tested this against other coolers such as Corsairs H100x and H60 and under load you're talking a 10C difference, it's that good.Lucky number 4 for me has lasted over 2 years now without issue. I'm sure if this product didn't have the woeful manufacture process and could be made reliably, we'd be talking about the best cooler money could buy.

Swiftech H240-x2 water cooler repair
The concept is great but it has to be reliable and from all the reports of leaking units Swiftech have a problem. To date I have tried four 240x2 units all had the same problem, cracks in the end of the reservoir resulting in a small leak. Not being in USA is a problem in itself when trying to get spare parts from Swiftech .Google Ortondale Photography on how to repair this unit.

Two disasters and one very wet pc
Loved the look and design but had a leak that may or may not of killed one of the 1070s. Replacement sent fast so nice one to the seller but unfortunately or fortunately depending on how it's looked at,it had a leak on arrival, this time near the reservoir whereas first time the cpu block cracked some 2 to 3 week's in use.. Overall horrible experience, best looking but far from best built.

Works but way to loud!
It looks great, cools great but the pump is louder than the 5 case fans i use put togheter..... I have to wear a headset to not hear the sound even sitting 3 feet from the machine... Such a shame, its a beauty, has great cooling but its just so irritatingly loud... I contacted Swiftech about the noise hoping to get one that dossent sound like a mini helicopter.

I was a bit sceptical because of the bad reviews here
I was a bit sceptical because of the bad reviews here, but since I don't even have to pay shipping costs from outside UK if it's defective I thought I try it.Mine had no leak at all and its working for a few months now like a charm. I had to screw some holes into my case so the coolers fit, but other than that it was pretty easy to install and to use.I just had a mediocre cooler before that so I don't really have a useful comparision regarding temps, but now I have ~60° with my i5 3570k @ 4,5ghz and 1,28 vcore (not a good cpu..). That sound's pretty reasonable and good for me.Other than that it looks really cool and it's not loud. If it runs at 100% it is, but you don't need that speed at all, it doesnt make any difference to me temp-wise.I totally recommend it, obviously there shouldn't be any leaks at all, but if you have them just return it and get a new unit.

... also took off h110i and its not running as cool as that so where they get it runs cooler ...
I have had to rma mine leaks also lights are patchy top bar only 2 light up sometimes 3 also if you set it up how they show you cpu fan error comes p on evry boot so you have to take pump off the controller then use cpu fan on motherboard then plug everything else into cpu fan header number 2 also took off h110i and its not running as cool as that so where they get it runs cooler from on youtube I don't know its not as if I'm a beginner been building systems for myself and others for over twenty years so buyer beware revised down to one star had replacement that leaks utter rubbish

Looks great but no use if it leaks.
Looks great but just like everyone else's mine arrived with a slow leak in the end of the water reservoir where it had cracked. despite being the best looking aio out there, its no use if its going to destroy the rest of your build, hopefully they change their manufacturing process and it all gets sorted.
