Good stuff, hard to find
This was listed as a prime item, but they indicated it would still take a month to get here (which it did). Not sure why it's so hard to get this stuff. None of the local home centers carried it.Regardless, I used this to re-glue a transition strip on my laminate floor. I lightly sanded the back of the piece and made sure the floor was clean, placed one long thick bead down the middle of the piece, and then set it down with some 10 pound dumbbells to keep pressure on it. Worked perfectly, and have had no movement at all with the transition piece after 6 months. Since this was the only need I had for it, I'm concerned that it will dry up in the tube, even though I rubber-banded and plastic bag over the tip. For 8 bucks, not the end of the world.

this is the real deal
I am an aerospace engineer, so I know my adhesives and sealants. This is the best stuff you are ever going to use on your home projects, unless you move up to an aerospace adhesive that is $50 a tube.I'm in los angeles, it was about 65F, 40% RH and sunny the day I used this to stick some bird repellents on my roof. it's thick and tacky enough to give a strong initial hold, is tack-free in about 5 minutes, and develops green adhesion in about 15 minutes in the conditions I had. I tried to pry it up and after 15 minutes is was stuck permanent to my wet asphalt roof shingles. The best part is it sticks to smooth acrylic and polycarbonate, so you can adhere it to most outdoor plastics. it probably wont stick to polyethylene or polypropylene, but nothing really does.silicone also has good UV and weather resistance; stay away from anything urethane-based for exterior use as it will degrade rapidly in the sun.overall, 5 stars. GE makes a good product.

Sticks great!
Used to install new bathroom. Glued countertop and vessel sink. Also glued cabinets to tiled wall WITHOUT drilling holes. Very strong. I had no problems with adhesive leakage when releasing pressure.A cap to close off unused adhesive would be nice.Dries to a slight milky color, not completely clear.

no adhesion for crafts; maybe got a bad one
From the manufacturer's video w/the concrete blocks, I thought this product would work for outdoor craft projects, but even after a week of indoor curing, things fall right off if lightly touched. I was trying to make decorative bowling balls for our garden; using a latex painted bowling ball as a base, I tried adhering either golf tees or glass gems or marbles to them. On the top part of the curved surface, the glued items would stay in place, but getting something to stick on the slight curve leading from the top of the ball, even holding things in place for up to 3 minutes by hand, things fell right off as soon, or shortly after, taking my hand away; if held in place for a minute or so, the gems would just start sliding down the curve & then fall off. As for the things glued to the top of the ball which stayed in place on their own, after curing in the basement for a week, things would fall off if touched. Another negative: when pulling away from applied dab, a long string of adhesive appears between the dab & the tip of the tube (similar to the strand of glue you get when using a hot glue gun). At least I can still use the bowling balls w/a vinyl siding adhesive I use for crafts since the bit of adhesive still attached to the bowling ball from this product rubs right off with a finger. Guess this stuff works if you want to glue 2 cinder blocks together like shown in the video, but for my purposes, it doesn't work at all. On the plus side, it was very easy to speak to someone at this company via phone, & they are refunding my money without going thru Amazon, & are looking into this batch number.

CORIAN SINK OVERFLOW REPAIR
Overflow bracket on three Corian sinks had broken loose. Dorian recommended GE Iron Grip and it has worked to repair all three overflows. The plumber said it was not reparable and recommended buying new Corian sinks and faucets. Repair achieved by cleaning off old adhesive, applying the GE Iron Grip and wedged the bracket into position for 6 hour drying time. Amazing strong grip achieved.

Product received is as advertised
Product performed excellent , my only gripe is one of the tubes was damaged and the adhesive leaked behind the caulking gun plunger making it a mess to use.

6 HOUR SET TIME!
I was hoping it was, more or less, instant bond, but no such luck

My favorite silicone adhesive
I tried Liquid nails and a lot of other brands/items - all of them became unusable lately - stay tacky forever!!!! But this one works as expected - dries and holds as advertised.
