very nice 3 burner stove
I should mention that this review will be mostly for the stove, but my stove came with the cast iron griddle and I bought the grill box as well, so my thoughts on the stove are kind of all mixed together with those accessories. I bought this stove to serve as both my deck grill and my camping grill. Once you add in some of the options like the grill box, pizza oven, and carrying cases for all of these items it doesn't work out that this is a very cheap grill. But I've used it for a couple of weekend cookouts now and I have to say it did an admirable job. There was enough room to make a full breakfast of hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast on the griddle with just a bit of shuffling food around. The accessories like the griddle and grill box generally use two of the three burners, so I found cooking multiple food items easiest if I used a small pan on the third burner as a warming box. But the bottom line is that there is enough space to cook food for at least five or six people and the stove has nice, powerful burners that can boil water quickly and get the accessories like the griddle and grill box nice and hot for cooking. One thing to note is that the auto-igniter is extremely hit or miss, so plan on bringing matches or better yet, one of those long-stemmed lighters.Saying that the stove is portable is a bit of a mixed bag because the cast iron griddle and grill box are NOT light, and neither is the stove for that matter, but if you plan on just unloading right from your truck at the campsite it should work just fine. Just don't plan on hiking this stuff very far unless you're an NFL pro player or wrestler or something. But it does all pack up into (optional) travel bags that you can carry in 30 lb or so chunks, so it can be used for stationary camping, and it does a pretty good job.

Great cook system for the price with included griddle it can be had for a steal
I use this is my summer backyard cooktop and have pretty much every accessory for it. Pizza stove, grill box (that I use for bread and like a oven), dutch oven domes, griddle that came with it, and a extra 1 burner griddle so I have the option to cook for a crowd which I do every month or so. This thing just works. I did add side tables, and replaced the stupid wire can holder for the pro grease cup (WAY worth the extra money), its amazing how something as dumb as a grease can thru into a hassle, luckily they had the better one available. I also added the adjustable feet which makes setting the level correctly (slight forward and to the left) to facility grease drainage on the griddle.Things I do not like, paper towel holder, it just freewheels in the wind, I also am not a fan of the bottom box construction, the old metal ringed wind guards that were fully open is easier to clean, but the grate can come out of this easily to clean as needed, but the floor is always greasy now.I have had many successful cookout and gatherings of friends and family using this, and recommend for prepping, camping (if you have a truck or trailer with a lot of space), large gatherings, etc.

GREAT for camping but HEAVY
I bought this for my husband for fathers day after camping with a couple that had one. My husband became obsessed with ti so i went on the hunt. The grill is great, the flat top cooking is amazing for pretty much anything...meat, vegetables, eggs, bacon is especially great. A few things, it's very heavy! I bought the bag for it as well as we will only use this one for camping and it takes two people to put it away and i definitely couldn't lift it by myself. The shipping took forever, and the box came in TERRIBLE condition - there were scratches to the legs upon opening the box. Did I mention the box was demolished? We received this a few days before our next camping trip so there was no time to ship anything back or make any kind of claim so we are just going to deal with it.I bought the package that was supposed to come with the paper towel holder and utensil holder, these were not included when we received the grill, we contacted the company to let them know and they sent them out but we didn't receive them in time for our trip. The burners tend to blow out easily which i would expect MAYBE on a windy day but this was not one of those days. The heat is pretty centralized to the area directly under the burner when using the flat top so be careful with that!My husband loves this grill and is already trying to plan a new outdoor kitchen around it but there are some improvements that can be made before I can be in love with it.

Should have had this years ago
Great for grilling, used for canning and cuts prep time in half, and clean up is minimal if done outside. Boils 3 24 qt containers in a short time.May 2015 I must make a comment about the striker on the Expedition Stove. This part I would have to give a 1. We have used the stove perhaps a dozen times, and the knob operating the striker twisted off the tiny plastic edge that allows the striker to engage. The shaft has a slit in it to engage the shaft. I went to use a pliers to twist the striker, but the shaft also twisted off. I had assumed this part was either brass or steel, but it is not. The knob should at least have metal embedded in it to engage the slit, and should at least be made of the same material the burner knobs are made off. These two parts come to $32.04 with shipping and handling. For that price I think I will get a package of utility lighters which can be used for other things

Great balance of capacity vs weight and bulk
Bought this for cooking /tailgating at crew regattas- making food for 90+ rowers and their families, breakfast /lunch/dinner. Very flexible- rapidly boiling water, making huge volumes of scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheesesteaks, etc. Quick to set up and take down. Isn't great at "flame grilling" burgers- but can pan-fry (griddle) them quickly. (Our team has a separate, massive "lazy flame" grill made by a different vendor, for making burgers. It weighs a ton and CAN'T rapidly heat pots / pans.)
