Great book! I use it for my biblical counseling cases.

When I was a young adult, I took one of Mr. Adam's counseling courses offered at a local church (he was not the instructor). His method of counseling relies on the Bible for answers to many of our problems. Even if you are not a Christian, I would still recommend that you check out his books--especially, "Competent to Counsel". This is an easy to read small book that you can give to a friend that might be experiencing problems.

This is the truth explained in terms we can understand with scripture as the foundation. It is so true. Anyone who come to you with relationship issues should be directed to read this book first prior to any counseling.
