Swiss army sandwich knife
This knife comes with the usual Dalstrong quality of course made in 67 layer Damascus and a AUS10 core its robust. well it slices through bagels, bread, buns and hard cheese. The rounded nose can spread butter, soft cheese jam etc and the cut your creation right through. It even cuts soft veg easily and soft tomatoes quake in its path. This knife is more useful than you might imagine, its a sandwich swiss army knife.

Love it.
I bought this knife because I have several other Dalstrong knives which are amazing quality and my curiosity got the better of me on this seemingly irrelevant piece of cutlery. Firstly, it’s much bigger and more substantial than it appears in the picture. It can spread butter or anything else that is relatively soft over an entire slice of bread in one fell swoop. There is no clumping of streaking so the layer can be finely spread over the whole slice with complete evenness. It’s also razor sharp for slicing so no need to use two separate knives for spreading and cutting. It’s also a great talking point when guests come around and it brings a smile to everyone’s face.......including mine.
