Worth the price. *by on Reviewed in the United States 4 April 2026* It does what I needed. I can A - B two sets of speakers (or two amps). And I can run both sets of speakers combined.That last feature is hard to find.The remote is handy for A - B comparing of speakers while sitting in the listening position. I like the banana plug / spade connectors. Solid and versatile.I have not noticed any degradation of sound quality when using this box. For $135 is was a good price.The meters are nice eye candy, but not all that acurate. You can change colors and brightness. Or turn them off completely if you wish.The unit does have to be powered on to pass the sound through you your speakers. I have a Furman power coditioner on my setup that I turn on before applying power to each hifi component. The VU3 pro is plugged into the Furman and it powers on when the Furman is switched on. So, that works fine for me. And the VU 3 pro remembers it's settings from the last power down.
