I have been trying to find shoes that fit well, easy to put on and look smart. After many failures I tried these and was immediately impressed by the comfort and appearance. I was so delighted that I have ordered another pair, in brown this time. One word of advice, order a size lower than your normal one..I usually take a 12 (and struggled to get into a pair I have). A size 11 fits me perfectly and slips on easily.

For the last two to three years I have, unfortunately, suffered with swollen feet which makes wearing traditional footwear impossible - much to my frustration as I have a number of expensive pairs of leather shoes I can no longer wear. I have had to resort to buying trainers two sizes larger than I would ordinarily wear. They are comfortable but not ideal for work or going out when you want to dress up and look smart. Fortunately, my work has been very tolerant and allowed me to wear trainers but I have still missed wearing traditional, smart/casual shoes to work or for going out. By chance I saw a pair of Roamers shoes on Amazon and thought I would try them. Best decision I ever made. The package arrived promptly and as soon as I tried the shoes on I knew I had made the correct choice. The shoes fitted perfectly. The velcro fastening allows me to alter the shoe fit according to how swollen my feet are on a day-to-day basis and the extra wide shoe fitting makes for extra room and comfort. I am a size 11 and I bought a size 11 - a bit worried that I should have ordered a size larger. No such need. The first time I wore the shoes was to work - a full day with the shoes on. Probably not a good idea with new shoes but I had no problems at all. The edge of the shoe that fits around the heel is padded and stops chaffing and discomfort and the inside sole is padded for extra comfort. The shoes are also so light, you could almost forget you are wearing any shoes at all. One last point, the shoes look smart, as well. Not the height of fashion but still quite stylish that you don't think you are wearing shoes to accommodate swollen feet. A wonderful purchase that I would recommend to anyone suffering with swollen, enlarged feet and who are desperate to wear some "ordinary" looking shoes.

My husband has not been able to wear his shoes for the past 6 months due to swollen feet and been managing with slippers and fabric trainers. These are a fantastic fit, very comfortable and at a very reasonable price. As an added bonus, not that any was needed, arrived less than 24hrs after ordering, cannot rate highly enough!!!!!

I like this style of shoe and decided to try roamer since seeing them on Amazon.They look good feel comfortably roomy and nicely finished inside the shoe with soft leather.I have been wearing them since and have had no problems.I would recommend them for style looks comfort and being well made.

very nice shoes & comfortable, but i found the shoes have slightly hard soles which could be slipprey on wet or damp surfaces.
