Joiners on KATO track will loosen when reused. These replacements work great.
After assembling and disassembling my N gauge KATO track a few times, the original joiners started to loosen and the track would misalign and I would also get poor electrical connectons.I could not find these at my local hobby shop, so I am glad I could find them on Amazon.It is pretty easy to remove the old joiners and replace them, and the new ones provide a tight joint.I keep a supply on hand for use whenever I change my layout.In my experience, the joiners should be replaced after two or three disassemblies to maintain a good and level connecton.
