This is a wonderful recording of Bobby Vinton songs...the song Blue Moon is worth the price of the CD ...crystal clear vocals and music... will not disappoint.

Not quite Greatest Hits
Not a bad CD but no greatest hits album for Mr.Vinton should be without “Blue on Blue”.Also, if you thought you might want to hear Bobby sing Frankie Avalon’s classic hit “Venus”, be aware that the track on here is an instrumental!

Best of the best Bobby album for me.
Looked over listings, when available, for Bobby's various albums., he being my favorite easy listening '50s and '60s singer. This one sounded the most promising. Critically, it included my favorite Bobby song : "I Love how You Love me": otherwise missing on most of his albums, although at YouTube, where it vies with the Paris Sister's original hit. In addition, all the other songs are superb, and unusually, includes "Unchained Melody", "When I Fall in Love", and "Blue Moon".One reviewer bitterly complained that it lacks Bobby's hit "Blue-on-Blue" and a vocal version of Franky Avalon's hit "Venus". Oh well, I guess you can't have everything. These deletions aren't critical for me, as they might be for you. The trumpet solo of "Venus" may seem out of place, but provides a change of pace and in a cha cha rhythm, quite different from Franky's original version. As far as a know, Bobby never recorded a vocal version. In college, Bobby learned to play many many musical instruments, including trumpet. Is that him on the trumpet here?.........Pair this with Ella Fitzgerald's 'Gold' album, and you'll never need to buy another 'easy listening' CD! So long, Elvis!

ボビーヴィントンの唄うブルームーンがとにかく欲しかったので、このベスト盤は重宝してます。狼男アメリカンという名作映画の冒頭に流れるんですよね。
