Not a real voltage regulator, beware!
This product is a cheap way to get 7.5V to a Canon LPE6 powered camera. Be aware that this uses a capacitor ladder to make the voltage, which is NOT regulated. That means nothing will prevent this from swinging to low or too high, either under powering, or damaging at worst your expensive camera. Also, only USB 3 ports have enough current to give some cameras the current they need.Test the voltage before use, and realize that it may under power a lot of gear. Also, if your source changes, test the voltage again. If you use a source too high, the output will raise with it unlike a real regulator. I kept the dummy battery and threw out the junk "converter" which is done in a cheesy way. For a few more bucks they could have made a real regulator circuit. I made my own regulator for about 5 dollars with a plastic enclosure and cable ends and all. My regulator can work with any voltage from 9-18V and still provide 7.6V at all times. Much safer and more reliable.

Did not work at first; second try worked
I bought this to allow me to do long exposure star trails while I was on vacation. I tested it before I left for vacation, with appropriately rated batteries, and it consistently locked up the camera on the second shutter activation. I decided I would send it back after I returned from vacation. I tried it again after vacation and it worked perfectly in every possible test I could run. ????? So I kept it and will try it again the next time I want to do long exposure star trails.

Finicky
I was glad to see a dummy battery that connects to a standard power pack vs a specific one. I have the Bonai 20000mah. It meets the criteria for this product. Neither my 6d or 70d would work with one usb plugged in. I had to plug both in to turn on the camera and then I could unplug one of the usbs and it would work fine.

Works Really Well
I've been using this for years now and it's been an awesome purchase - especially when I'm needing to run a camera for long recording sessions. Thank you for offering such a great solution w/o paying factory OEM prices!

Promising- but errors out the camera in under 15 min
After reading the reviews, I bought this ACK-E6 dual usb endless battery replacement for a Canon 6D Mark II. The camera throws an error 80 randomly when using this pack. I have tried a number of different power adapters including genuine Apple power adapters (known for their quality). The whole point of this product is to be able to run a camera for extended periods of time. If you do not have a need for reliability, this product is probably fine, otherwise look elsewhere. (For reference, the Canon 6D Mark II will stay turned on for 0 to 15 min before shutting off and erroring out- which is significantly less time than just using a battery).

As advertised — Works great with my Canon 5D IV
Works as advertised. Evidently you have to make sure your USB have enough amps. Regular USB ports usually don’t. You need ports that are capable of fast changing with the minimum 2 Amps.
